Why!?!? There is no point of making this game free. So this game is for donut making, right? The costumer orders a donut with a filling and u have to pay to make the donut, and if you don’t, you end up losing a costumer. What’s up with that? And every time the store closes, the » host» says in her annoying voice, let’s go to the contest!👩😒and u have to vote for the best donut and they say if you’re wrong or right. Do you bake your cakes from scratch? Yes, your wedding cake should look and taste just as wonderful. My Sweet Cakes are baked fresh to order and are never frozen. Our buttercream icing is also made from scratch and is delicious!
Do you require a deposit when I’ve chosen my cake? Yes, a $50 cake deposit is required to hold your event on our calendar. This deposit subtracts from the total cost of your cake. Please note that this deposit is nonrefundable.
How much do your birthday or special occasion cakes cost? We need to serve around 20 guests. Birthday and special occasion cakes start at $105 for a simple 8″ round double layer cake.
I have collected pictures of cakes that I really like. Using those ideas, can you recreate something just for me? Absolutely, clients bring or email pictures to us all the time. This is very helpful in the creative process. From those designs, and with our expertise, together we’ll customize a cake just for you!
Can you deliver my wedding cake? Does it cost extra? We deliver and set up all wedding cakes. This service is done at no additional charge when the delivery is within Davis County & Ogden area located in Utah and has met the minimum delivery amount of $150.00. Outside of Davis County, delivery and setup charges start at $35 and go up depending largely upon the amount of distance being traveled and your cakes specific setup requirements.
Can I get a price quote for the cake I have in mind? Yes, because no two cakes are exactly alike, pricing is always customized to your cakes specifics. The most accurate quotes can be given when your cake consultation (whether done in person or through email) is complete.
What will I need to bring to my consultation? There are many things that will be helpful to bring when planning your wedding cake design at our consult. Here’s a list: picture(s) of cakes you like, color swatches, ribbon (if wanted for cake), cake topper and an estimate of how many guests you’re expecting.
I would like fresh flowers on my cake, do you provide those? No, not typically, all fresh flowers used for the cake must be ordered through your florist. This way, flowers will be uniform through out your event. Upon cake delivery, we would be happy to help place fresh flowers for the cake on site.
I am not working with a florist, can I order flowers from your company? Yes, minimum fresh floral design orders start at $100.
Do you or do private lessons? Yes, I’d love to work with you hands-on with whatever cake art you’d like to perfect, weather it be in my cake studio or at your own home!

How long does it take you to make a wedding cake? It generally takes 3 days for a simple design. 2-3 days before the event, I bake all the cakes. They are cooled and placed in the fridge. The day before the event, the cakes are then leveled, filled and iced, then placed back in the fridge over night. The day of the event the cakes are covered with fondant, and design work is completed and then is delivered. Beginning to end, roughly 8-10 hours on average.
I noticed you have some really pretty cake stands. Do you rent those out? Yes, for a small fee. A security deposit is also required at time of pick up and is given back when all items come back in original condition. *Note: If you are purchasing a cake there is NO fee for the use of my stands or candle stick holders. We took big risks — we took a huge loan, pledged property. It became clear that it was time to reach a new level of production, and I decided to develop the confectionery direction in the company. The confectionery business has many nuances and complexities, starting with the fact that it is a complex manual labor, and ending with the fact that the demand for assortment is seasonal. This means that we need to plan in advance the load and our holidays. For example, now everyone is preparing for the New Year, saving money, the demand for cakes is small. But before the New Year, we will have a lot of work: now we are developing a New Year’s cake, which will be decorated with a decorative mouse — the symbol of the year. Just imagine: the baker works all night to provide all outlets with a full assortment by morning. One baker prepares at least 700 pieces of food per night with his own hands, plus he also loads and unloads baking sheets. This is a very difficult and responsible work, which not everyone can do. I personally interview everyone who comes to get a job with us and I always see whether a person suits us or not. It’s good if the applicant already has a specialized education and experience, but we also often train our employees from scratch.
The main thing is that a person has the desire and ability to work with the test. That is why housewives who have been baking for the whole family for many years often do better with this work than a person with a higher education who has a lot of theoretical knowledge, but he did not really hold the test in his hands. Now we have a great close-knit team that not only does its job perfectly, but also helps me expand the range — at least 3-4 items of our products have appeared with the help of bakers. In this case, it is very important to be a person who is not indifferent to his work.
We still do not have an advertising manager on staff, and probably never will. Previously, they ordered banners, advertising on the radio, but now they have practically abandoned this. We fill our site ourselves, I maintain pages on VKontakte, Instagram and Odnoklassniki, and my personal page on VKontakte has long become a showcase of my products. The main promotion channel is word of mouth, of course. When it comes to bakery products and desserts, the eye buys. A person liked the look of a bun or cake, he bought it, tried it, and now he is already recommending our products to his loved ones. It always works like this.
