I’m so glad I found Vive la Van.
This was a fantastic way to explore the island. It gave me complete flexibility to decide where I went and when and was a great home where ever I decided to go. Leila and Carlos were super helpful whenever needed as well. I love this idea and really hope I get to take advantage of VLV’s offerings again some day.
The perfect way to see the island! Vive La Van made everything very easy. Highly recommend.
We LOVED our experience with Vive la van from start to finish. Carlos and Leila were gracious hosts and so welcoming.
Our flight landed at 5am on Christmas Day and they went out of their way to pick us up early from the airport and on a holiday! Thanks again for that 💕.
The van was clean, and had every necessity that you needed to live out of a van. The indoor shower was extra nice for privacy.
We spent our first night in a public beach in Luquillo (felt safe)! Then we headed out to Rincon and stayed at one of the recommended places from Vive la van, Surf Shack cabaña.
This place was awesome, and the host Edwin was also amazing and so welcoming. Waking up, and watching the surfers from the back door of the van was so therapeutic to say the least.
Our last night was at Finca Viernes. Our only regret here is that we didn’t stay longer. The view of the lake from our camping spot was AMAZING. 10/10 would recommend to stay here. A must!
We had such a great time in the van and wish we could have stayed longer in PR to drive around the whole island. Thank you again Leila and Carlos for your warm hospitality. We had a great time in your van and can’t wait to be back again!

Unbelievable experience! Make sure you choose the routes along the coast if time allows to optimize the beach views and experience!
Tip: be cognizant of the height of the roof when driving. Make sure all electronics are powered off when not in use as to avoid draining the battery
Siempre estuvieron pendiente a nuestras necesidades, excelentes recomendaciones, excelente experiencia para acampar pero estábamos super comodos! Todo lo que necesitabamos! Recomendado 100%.
