Salimos sin rumbo desde Mayagüez y a la hora de almorzar, encontramos este restaurante gracias a las buenas recomendaciones en Facebook.
Decidimos visitarlo y resultó magnífica selección.
Muy sencillo pero bonito salón comedor.
Menú sencillo.
Comida criolla.
Excelente la comida. Como la que hacía mi abuela. Delicioso todo lo que ordenamos.
Bisté encebollado, es su «signature dish».
Porciones súper generosas.
Y las meseras, súper dulces.
Llevan desde 1960 en el negocio.
Me sorprende que no haya sabido antes de este restaurante.
Volveré.

About the restaurant

Our inspiration is the nature of Russia in all its diversity and richness. Shady forests and clean rivers, grassy fields and proud mountain peaks — everywhere we see the spirit of Russian cuisine and try to take our guests to its very heart.
Our restaurant is a place for evening meetings and discovering new gastronomic horizons. We rely on the purity of tastes and the purity of products, so in our menu you will find dishes prepared from Nizhny Novgorod ingredients grown by our farmers and designed specifically for the discerning guests of YALE.

where local products meet world food trends and techniques

YALE – a restaurant of modern Russian cuisine,

from the Bogorodsky district, and I personally collected porcini mushrooms for this dish near Semenov. The YALE menu is a story about nature, riches and people of the Nizhny Novgorod region, and this story turned out to be exciting, interesting and full of unexpected, but always pleasant and tasty surprises.

YALE cuisine is a way to look at local products in a new way, to see beauty and potential in them, which are invisible to many. The purity of products is important to us, so we give preference to farm meat and vegetables, we treat food as a story, all parts of which are equally important and interesting to us.

We do not pursue quantity, preferring quality and drinks with history. Our wine list is divided into two chapters: Classic and Modern. The classic part contains wines that have proven themselves over time, while Modern introduces guests to the most fashionable wine stories.
