La Semana Grande de Donostia 2022 se celebrará del 13 al 20 de agosto.

Tras dos años de parón, el cañonazo volverá a escucharse en Alderdi Eder como arranque de la Semana Grande donostiarra. El próximo 13 de agosto estallará la fiesta para dar paso a un programa repleto de actividades en el que conviven propuestas tradicionales y novedades para todo tipo de públicos.
El cañonazo dará inicio a ocho días de fiesta en los que todas las personas que se animen a disfrutar del programa encontrarán alguna propuesta que sea de su agrado. Gigantes y cabezudos, toros de fuego, fuegos artificales, conciertos, actividades deportivas, teatro de calle, txarangas, grupos de danza, herri kirolak, food trucks y puestos de artesanía llenarán las calles de la ciudad de color y fiesta.
Tras el arranque festivo con los sones del ‘Artillero’, la “Holi Fest” hará las delicias de los jóvenes en el Boulevard, con un baño de color que ofrece diversión a raudales. Posteriormente, el tradicional Alarde de txistularis tomará el relevo llenando de música la Plaza de la Constitución, marcando el paso de una semana en la que cada cual encontrará múltiples opciones para divertirse a su gusto.
Un total de 30 espacios se convertirán en escenario particularmente festivo. Así, a los ya tradicionales Boulevard, Plaza de la Constitución, Sagüés o Alderdi Eder, se sumarán el Jardín del Palacio de Aiete, Riberas de Loiola o el Río Urumea.

En las fiestas se han registrado dos denuncias formales por pinchazos, aunque se hayan investigado varios casos más. Durante los siete días no se ha registrado ninguna denuncia por agresión sexual.

Una fiestas marcadas por la meteorología, y que dejan, como aspecto negativo, las agresiones machistas y el reto de acabar con ellas.
En víspera de la valoración oficial de mañana, Goia ha hecho públicas sus primeras impresiones. Ha destacado la afluencia de público en los conciertos de Sagüés y en los fuegos artificiales; y en cuanto a las agresiones sexistas, también ha confirmado que hay dos denuncias por pinchazos.
El alcalde de Donostia-San Sebastián ha destacado, por ejemplo, los multitudinarios conciertos de Gatibu, Zetak e Izaro.
En cuanto a la suspensión de los fuegos artificiales, ha recordado que siempre hay que priorizar «la seguridad».
La Semana Grande finaliza este sábado, con la Unión Artesana como encargada de animar esta última jornada; hace siete días, sus miembros tuvieron la oportunidad de darle comienzo.
San Sebastián han empezado el día entre fogones, en busca del rey o la reina del Marmitako.
Cocinando, comiendo o bailando, la cuestión es exprimir la fiesta hasta el final, y para ello habrá ocasión.
Al igual que en 2019, la pirotecnia italiana se ha hecho con la Concha de Oro del concurso internacional que se celebra en el contexto de la Semana Grande de la capital guipuzcoana.
Se ofrecerá el concierto que reunió a más de 70 txistularis de todos los rincones de Euskal Herria en la Plaza de la Constitución.
Julian Iantzi e Izaro Iraeta presentarán el programa, que contará con varios invitados especiales.

La víspera del día de la Virgen es muy especial para los donostiarras. El ‘Festara!’ de Gaztelubide es uno de los actos de la Semana Grande. Decenas de personas se acercaron anoche a la sociedad Gaztelubide para disfrutar del coro.
El herido, de 17 años, ha sido trasladado a un centro sanitario de la capital guipuzcoana.
