Vestido de Celia Cruz estará en el Museo de la Salsa de Cali
Luego de tres años de conversaciones la pieza que usó la reconocida cantante cubana estará en la capital del Valle del Cauca. EFE/Domenech Castello
Celia Cruz dejó un importante legado para la música tropical en América, el mundo y por su puesto en Colombia. En Cali, capital de la salsa, esta herencia se sigue expandiendo gracias a una pieza de la reconocida cantante cubana que ahora estará en un museo de la ciudad.
Un vestido de Celia Cruz fue donado por Omar Pardillo, quien fue representante de la artista, al Museo de Salsa de Cali.
La importante pieza que una vez fue usada por Celia Cruz para engalanar junto con su voz los escenarios del mundo entero, será presentado de manera oficial el próximo 9 de septiembre a las 6:00 p .m. por Carlos Molina Jr., actual director del Museo de la Salsa.
Tres años de conversaciones para que la pieza llegara a Cali
El vestido que donó Omer Pardillo a través de la Fundación Celia Cruz, llegó a la capital del Valle del Cauca después de tres años de conversaciones entre ambas organizaciones dedicadas a rescatar y promover la cultura.
El director del Museo de la Salsa en Cali aseguró que la relación cercana que tenía su padre con la cantante cubana facilitó el trato para que la importante pieza llegara a la capital vallecaucana. Así mismo, resaltó que la pandemia y otras situaciones en Colombia provocaron retrasos para la llegada del vestido de ‘La Guarachera de Cuba’ a la ciudad.
“Mi papá era amigo personal de Celia Cruz y por la afinidad que tiene el museo se facilitó la relación. La pandemia, el paro y otros obstáculos no habían permitido traer el vestido pero ya está aquí”, manifestó el director del Museo de la Salsa.
Para Molina el tener el vestido de Celia Cruz en Cali permite que la ciudad gane todavía más reconocimiento a nivel internacional. Además, resaltó la importancia del intercambio cultural que esto significa.
“Con esto la ciudad gana intercambio cultural, reconocimiento sobre lo que es Cali y lo que le entregó a Celia. Ella es la representante femenina más importante de la música latina y no solamente por la salsa sino también por ritmos que están en América Latina”, destacó Carlos Molina Jr.
Evento de presentación del vestido de Celia Cruz
La Alcaldía de Cali y el Museo de Salsa de la ciudad informaron que la presentación de la pieza que visitió la cantante cubana se realizará en un evento este viernes 9 de septiembre a las 6:00 p. m.
La actividad será abierta al público en el Museo de la Salsa ubicado en el barrio Obrero. Así mismo, se informó que junto con la prenda de ‘La Guarachera de Cuba’, los asistentes podrán disfrutar de la colección de fotografías y “elementos del ecosistema salsero que tiene importante espacio cultural”.
Por las ventas internacionales de la novela de Celia Cruz entutelaron a RCN y a Fox Telecolombia
Foxtelecolombia S. A y RCN Televisión fueron entutelados a mitad de este año en aras de que presentaran los contratos que hicieron estas cadenas con otros canales para difundir la novela de la cantante cubana Celia Cruz, la cual se emitió en el 2015 en Colombia.
La tutela tenía como fin que se dieran a conocer los contratos y detalles de los mismos como ventas a terceros, valores, países de origen, etc. Desde el 2019 se presentó la tutela y en julio de este año fue aceptada por un juzgado en Bogotá, el cual deberá resolver el pleito que se generó con la obra audiovisual de Celia.
