[Dominican Republic] TOP-9 reasons to have a wedding on the beach
Weddings / Tips
Author of the article: Anna Kumantsova
Photographer in the Dominican Republic
Today we will talk not only about weddings in the Dominican Republic, but also about the venue. Beach wedding. It can be a beach in any other country where there is a sea or ocean, sand and palm trees. And of course, warm weather, like in the Dominican Republic ))
Let’s start!
Do you like beach weddings as much as I do? If you have ever dreamed of a wedding on the beach, then you probably know many reasons why this is a great idea! However, if you think otherwise, then this article may change your mind.
Beach weddings are THE BEST ever!!! Saying vows under palm trees when the sea is behind you with crystal clear water… what could be more beautiful??
I know, I know… beach weddings are not for everyone. So take a look at my top 9 reasons to get married on the beach, and then decide for yourself if it’s right for you or not.
Beach weddings are fun!
Should I even be reminded of this? It’s obvious to me. You can’t be sad or frown on the beach. I think it’s just not possible. Beautiful views, warm breeze, your tanned skin and a tropical drink in your hand. I’m already smiling imagining it now. Now throw in all your close family and friends and some live music and you’ll be in heaven. Who wouldn’t want to get married in paradise?
Beach weddings are more relaxed than traditional weddings.
There is less pressure on the bride and groom. Everyone has already switched to a beach holiday, enjoying their vacation, so your anxieties and sorrows will not be as strong as at home. In addition, it will be hot and sunny, which means that you and your guests will be able to dress more casually. You will even be more comfortable without shoes on the beach during the ceremony.
It’s just that in the Caribbean there is less stress and a lot of tranquility (tranquils). That’s all. 9More personal
More is not always better. Especially when it comes to weddings. Intimacy is romance. And when you have the closest people around you, you can really not hide your love for each other, enjoy these moments, instead of entertaining the daughter of your aunt’s best friend, whose name you don’t even know. Do not forget, when planning a beach wedding, you need to take into account that not all loved ones will be able to come so far. If this is not an official wedding, then many couples even hold the ceremony together without guests. And the official event takes place in the registry office with relatives from the family circle.
Beach wedding is cheaper than you think wedding budget. The beach is a unique, natural wedding venue and renting it for an event is not as expensive as restaurants or special venues.
The resorts of the Dominican Republic have very affordable wedding offers for weddings in places such as Macau Beach, Bounty or Saona Island. You’ll be surprised how much money you can actually save by having your wedding on the beach.
Plus, you can always combine your wedding and honeymoon in a beautiful resort for even more savings!
Anywhere on the island, in all major tourist destinations, different secrets and methods are used when organizing a wedding. But, it is in the resort of Punta Cana, as it seems to us, that the most unusual and diverse natural landscapes, from mountains to sandy white beaches. Plus, there is the main accumulation of qualified specialists (decorators, florists, photographers, etc.). Their skills guarantee the quality and uniqueness of your wedding in the Caribbean!
Connecting with nature
Let’s go back to the main reason for the attraction of Caribbean beaches.
Beautiful views of the Dominican Republic will already serve as a first-class decor. Solitude with the nature of the island, the singing of exotic birds, the feeling of sea waves at your feet, the rustle of evergreen palm trees and unforgettable sunrises and sunsets. An assortment of fresh fruits, natural juices and delights of local cuisine will fill you with a feeling of vivacity and freshness on such an important day for you. Just imagine that you are breathing in this fresh ocean air.
Wedding at any time of the year
It is so common that weddings are more often held in the summer or in the warm season — in the summer or in the warm season. When you are in the Caribbean, it seems like summer is all year round. You do not have to tie the wedding to any time of the year if you plan to hold it in the Dominican Republic or near the lying islands.
