VIP is a joke

Jul 2022 • Friends

Don’t waste your time getting VIP unless you have large group. We spent 400 plus dollars for VIP bottle service and there were random people that basically took over the area we were in. We had to tell the server to put the rope/divider back up- what a waste of money. Also the dress code we read and I confirmed before selecting VIP said no hats, sneakers etc….There were all kinds of caps and people with sneakers all in the place. This pissed us off as well. The VIP was a joke. If you do go the DJ was good , drinks are expensive so maybe just buy 1 drink and wear whatever the hell u want.

Birthday trip

Dec 2019 • Friends

The club was ok. Crowd was young. Drinks were weak. The DJ didn’t play the popular dance music that I hear on the radio. We only stayed for a couple of hours.

Great Club just a BAD PROMOTER

Sep 2019 • Friends

I celebrated my birthday in the club yesterday. It was amazingly fun, great music, awesome ambience and the employees were so kind. The only thing that I didn’t like was when I was making the reservation of the table with this irresponsible and unprofessional promoter (Gabo Gallardo) it was a mission try to reach him. He never answered my questions after I reserved the table, and didn’t know anything about the prices of the night. I had to contact another promoter who was the opposite of him; in just hours he set it up everything. While I made the reservation with Gallardo weeks ago… Thanks Navon, you are the best!!!

Best rated club, mostly popular local music

May 2019 • Couples

Loved the vibe, gets steamy Preety much after mid night no point showing up in a crowd less space. The music was mostly Spanish and popular English. A rare Punjabi and an international hot was played to our surprise, kudos to the DJ to keep the international audience in mind.

Dress up, deck up, man in shorts and sloping not allowed to enter. Woman, they always know their Party game well. Have fun, thank me later.

One of the best nightclubs I’ve ever been to

Nov 2018 • Friends

We absolutely LOVED it here. The atmosphere is fancy and sophisticated, with chandeliers and lighting. Everyone is dressed up and there are many bouncers so the crowd isn’t seedy. The music is amazing, with top 40s mixed with raggaeton and some EDM mixed in. We came at 11p when it was still a bit empty but by midnight it had filled out, and by 1am it was pretty crowded. Wish this club was in NYC, would go all the time!

  • This is an amazing club. Upscale and perfect. It’s the place to be seen. Cocktails and music are nothing short of epic! Dress up because this is not your typical night club

  • It’s a club. A good club. Drinks are inexpensive, but the «Wooo» girls on tables and couches can go hang themselves. Oh and prepare yourself for a plethora of bros to rub up behind you unsuspectingly.

  • Hit up the casino, grab a cocktail and dance some salsa all before entering the club. Upstairs and downstairs areas with separate DJs. A great night in PR.

  • Located in the lobby of the Hotel San Juan, this upscale club/lounge is a great spot to dance all night long (open Thursday thru Saturday). Dress code is enforced, be sure to look your best!

  • The best night club ever! Loved the music, the scene, some of the bartenders were good (not all, they bald one was annoying). .. overall a good night out!

  • While bars, clubs and restaurants open and close all of the time in Puerto Rico, Brava remains constant. Good music and drinks, plus a certain charm ensure that it remains Puerto Rico’s premier club

  • Their security team is great. The place is probably the only one in PR that you can feel you won’t be shot!

  • My drinks from the bar were way, way too strong. Rest of the club was kickass though and everyone enjoyed themselves. Lots of cute local men and women.

  • Love this place. I’ve traveled outside the tourist areas and this is by far my favorite place to party

  • Minimum age differs depending on night. Very busy from Thur, Fri and Saturday nights. Before midnight to beat the crowds.

  • Thursday’s are for kids! If you are looking for a 30’s crowd. .. Go on Saturday!

  • BEWARE! fake DJ’s using computers to play rather than feel or ear! Bartender Oscar is great chat and is great drink pourer

  • Yes!!!! Fantastic time. Great DJ. Great bartenders. Great atmosphere! Danced all night!!

  • There are 2 floors with 2 different type of music. Upstairs is more into lounge.

  • Oscar is the hottest bartender and most fabulous person in this entire place. He’s the reason i wake up in the mornings in Puerto Rico! #holler

  • Line is lo g but totally worth it. So much fun and great variety of music.

  • Always jumping Thursday — Saturday with a mix of Latin to house music

  • Club is free usually before 11:30pm for ladies. I was nearly blinded by all the lights in the club. I was lucky to find parking not far from the resort so didn’t have to pay.

  • Pay a flat rate of $5.00+ tax for parking when you stamp your Paseo San Juan parking ticket at BRAVA entrance!

  • This place is a staple in the San Juan party scene, Saturday night is a sure bet.

  • Very touristy, but very nice club. Set up is cool, hotel lobby is gorgeous.

  • It’s a club. Nothing special. Two floors, decent music. Whatever. You have to dress up so you can stare at skanks looking to hook up with PR locals and the sad bit is 70% of them are fat and gross…

  • Good music and I loved the atmosphere.

  • Recently renewed…. The tables settings are badass!

  • Best club in La Isla Verde!!! Spanish, House and Hip-Hop rooms! Fun for tourist and locals!!

  • Make sure your man wears dress shoes or the brace face kid at the door won’t let you in! Apparently tacky ass women’s clothing is ok though

  • Look for the One and Only — Aba! The best bartender there!

  • Bring pants, nice shirt and shoes or they won’t let you in. No exceptions.

  • table service is a must!

  • Beautiful women everywhere at that place.

  • These people call the police… for a «5.7» guy and to females weighing 120 pounds soaking wet… gas mask… smfh I will NEVER set foot el San Juan hotel are. CLUB BRAVA

  • Night Club

  • Hotel guest get in free & no wait

  • the best place to jang in PR

  • too expensive, have to pay entrance plus expensive drinks; prefer OSJ

  • The BIGGEST TIP you’ll get… It’s called B-R-A-V-A!!!

  • Do not go thursday

  • Don’t go here. Drinks are overpriced, creepy dudes, horrible music from a computer

  • DonQ lime w cranberry

  • Excelente disco, lo mejor de puerto rico!

  • Patético lugar!!!! Uno paga y parece que te hacen el favor de dejarte entrar. El cadenero de la puerta es una persona sin educación, un auténtico patán!

  • So hype 👍

Costa Brava or Costa Dorada? Understanding the regions of Catalonia / Articles on Profi.Travel

A tourist wants to go to Barcelona and relax on the beach, but you doubt what to advise him? Profi.Travel will help you understand the main resorts of Catalonia.

There is an opinion that the Costa Brava region is more suitable for young people, and the Costa Dorada is more suitable for families with children. However, experts are in no hurry to agree with such a categorical division. In fact, they say, recreation for children, youth, and the elderly is possible in each of these regions. You just need to take a closer look at resort towns that can provide the right infrastructure for each client. nine0005

To switch the map, click on the corresponding category of tourists.

For childrenFor youthFor romanticsFor the older generation

In general, Catalonia includes three large resort areas: Costa Barcelona , which includes the capital of Catalonia and several resort towns; on the south side, the region Costa Dorada adjoins it, on the northeast — Costa Brava.

The main airport of arrival for both resorts is one — the international airport «El Prat» in Barcelona, which is located between the regions. Arrivals are also carried out in the city of Reus, hence closer to the resorts of Cambrils, Salou, La Pineda. nine0005

Costa Brava , due to its geographical location, it is a little cooler than the Costa Dorada, the sea warms up longer, and some resort towns are open to the wind. There are more bays framed by rocks. The depth at many resorts begins almost immediately after entering the sea. The resorts of this region will be of interest to those tourists who want not only to relax on the coast, but also to travel to neighboring cities (and sometimes countries — it is more convenient to travel from the Costa Brava on one- or two-day excursions to France and Andorra). nine0005

There is a railway along the coast. So, for example, you can get to Barcelona from Santa Susanna and subsequent towns along it in an hour and a half. Further north, the road goes only to Blanes, you will have to go to the towns of Lloret de Mar and Tossa by bus.

In addition to many other attractions, the so-called «Dali Triangle» is of particular interest here — three towns that are directly related to the famous surrealist. These include the theater museum in Figueres, the Gala castle in Pubol and Dali’s workshop in Port Lligate. nine0005

The choice of accommodation on the coast is very large: from city hotels to villas on the beaches. It is considered a fairly economical region, however, the price tag for some 3-4 * hotels may be higher than in other resorts, since this zone is perceived as an extension of the French Cote d’Azur, although the hotels themselves and rooms are often quite small. There is a greater choice of 5 * hotels here, for example, in Lloret de Mar there are five hotels of this category on the coast (while there are only two of them along the entire coast of the Costa Dorada). nine0005

Costa Dorada is suitable for those tourists who focus on a beach holiday and plan just a few trips (for example, to Barcelona for shopping or an excursion). It is worth offering the resorts of the southern region and families with children who love extreme sports. The popular Port Aventura amusement park will be of interest to both children and youth.

Warn tourists that if they are accommodated in a hotel on the territory of the park, they will have to get to the sea by transport.

The beaches in the south are characterized by fine golden sand and gently sloping sea entry. Some resorts have such shallow water that we can safely recommend them for families with infants. nine0005

Read more about children’s tourism in Catalonia here

There is also a railway here and it will take about an hour to get to Barcelona.

The hotel base here is more modern than on the Costa Brava, and more familiar to a tourist who has had experience of relaxing in Turkey and Egypt — the territory and rooms are larger than in the Costa Brava.

Let’s take a closer look at the resort towns of the regions. Resorts are listed in order of distance from Barcelona.

Costa Brava

Blanes — the southernmost city of the Costa Brava, located on the shore of a spacious bay formed by a cape and two reefs that protrude far into the sea. In the vicinity of the city there is an abundance of rocks rising from the sea. The city is interesting for history buffs — the watchtower of San Juan Castle has been preserved here (it is allowed in on certain days), a Gothic fountain, in the nearest suburb — a Romanesque basilica of the 12th century. There are two botanical gardens, not far from Blanes there is a water amusement park and a zoo. The Blue Flag beaches are sandy and pebbly with infrastructure and water activities. Shallow water. nine0005

Lloret de Mar — «Mecca of partygoers», many bars and nightclubs, discos and flamenco shows. There are casinos, shops, museums, theaters, parks (for example, Santa Clotilde Gardens). Considered the most well-equipped resort in terms of sports facilities, there is a water park. The beaches are wild and public, they have the Q mark of the ICTE institute. The depth begins quite close to the shore.

Tossa de Mar is a picturesque town of interest to history buffs. The walls and cylindrical towers of the fortress of the 12th century have been preserved in it. The monument is called «Vila Vella» and declared a National Treasure. The old town is suitable for couples or honeymooners. The beaches are sandy, located both in the city itself and in a dozen quiet bays located outside it. nine0005

Playa de Aro is a small resort town, consisting of the main street, on which all operating and mass establishments are located. Has its own amusement park. There is also a water park and a nature park nearby. The coastline has eight small golden sandy beaches, some of which are located in rocky bays. You can find secluded wild beaches, and there are also fully equipped with infrastructure, up to a special children’s area with attractions and water slides. nine0005

Roses is a resort in the very north of the Costa Brava near France. It gets quite windy, which can be a minus for relaxing on the beach, but a plus for surfing. Wide opportunities for water sports. There are bars, restaurants, shops, several historical sights. Sandy beaches, some can only be reached on foot, infrastructure is not everywhere.

The following cities conditionally belong to the Costa Barcelona region, but since they are far from Barcelona itself, many tour operators offer them as Costa Brava resorts. nine0004

Calella — the resort is suitable for a relaxing holiday, although there are opportunities for water sports. The beaches are sandy, but the depth starts quite quickly, which is worth warning tourists with children in advance. There are historical sights. Various festivals often take place in the town, so look in advance at the calendar of events for the dates of the tourist’s vacation. If the client came for peace and quiet, it may be necessary to reorient him to another resort. nine0005

Pineda de Mar is a quiet resort with a long sandy beach and developed infrastructure. Lots of sights from the Middle Ages.

Santa Susanna is a city suitable for families with children and elderly tourists. A minimum of entertainment, a calm embankment. The beaches are sandy, the only thing that tourists with children should pay attention to is that the depth begins quite soon in the sea, but there are many other entertainments on the coast that can interest a child, for example, children’s clubs. nine0005

Malgrat de Mar is a resort for families with children and older tourists. It is noted that there are a large number of fresh fruits and vegetables. The beaches are sandy, with all the necessary infrastructure.

Costa Dorada

Sitges — a resort for young people, many restaurants, bars, discos and nightclubs. It is located close to Barcelona, hence the price tag is slightly higher than in other resorts. Long sandy beaches, which are quite crowded. It makes sense to advise secluded bays, where there are fewer people. At a considerable distance there is a nudist beach, and behind it is a beach for people with a non-traditional sexual orientation. nine0005

Calafell — is divided into three parts: Calafell — the old village, Playa de Calafell — the entertainment and shopping part of the city, Segur de Calafell — the beach and sports. The resort has a certificate of family tourism, received from the Tourism Agency of the Government of Catalonia. There are sports fields for golf, football and basketball, tennis courts and swimming pools. Sandy beaches, the sea is shallow and warms up well.

El Vendrell — resort for a relaxing beach holiday, sea water contains iodine. There are museums and ancient monuments. The beaches are sandy and shallow. There are sports yachts, catamarans, motor boats, sea boats in the harbor. You can rent a sailboat and go on a mini cruise. nine0005

Coma Ruga is a small resort for a relaxing and healing holiday. Sea water here contains a high concentration of iodine, and the thalassotherapy center offers treatments using water from local mineral springs and therapeutic mud. The beaches are sandy, long, the entry into the sea is gentle. The infrastructure is there.

La Pineda is a quiet and peaceful resort, there are fewer tourists than in Salou. Beaches with clean white sand, gently sloping bottom, the water warms up well. Suitable for families with children: many green parks, children’s clubs at hotels, a special children’s menu in cafes and restaurants, an abundance of shallow pools and «paddling pools», special entertainment programs and animators. nine0005

Salou is a popular resort with an old center, a port and a promenade with fountains. The most modern hotels are located here, as well as discos, restaurants, shops. The rest of the sights are outside the city, but they are easy to get to. The main advantage for families with children or young people is the proximity of the Port Aventura park. Sandy beaches are located behind the road and the promenade. The entrance to the sea is gentle, all the necessary infrastructure is there.

Cambrils — the resort is usually divided into three parts: historical, port, where hotels and entertainment centers are located, as well as Villa Fortuny — this is a special area for tourists. The beaches are sandy, gently sloping. Developed infrastructure, there is a yacht club, a sailing school and other water activities.

Football Tourist Guide Part 2: San Juan

San Martin represents the capital of the province of San Juan in the Argentine Primera, which is «in passing» considered the capital of Argentine hockey, winemaking and cycling.

In football terms, the San Juan region lags far behind neighboring Mendoza, only four times San Martin played in the top division (in 1970, 2007, 2008, 2011), and not once did the “saints” manage to stay more than one championship, and the second club in the region — Desamparados, did not manage to achieve this at all. However, as it turned out, San Juan perfectly compensates for such a «temporary football shortcoming» with a rich and interesting history. nine0005

SAN MARTIN

Full name: Club Atlético San Martín de SanJuan

Nicknames: Verdinegro — «black-green», «saints»

Founded: September 27, 1907 (aged 104)

Location: San Juan, San Juan Province

Stadium (capacity): Stadium. Ingeniero Hilario Sanchez (Estadio Ingeniero Hilario Sánchez) (28.000)

Coach: Daniel Garnero

Achievements: Nacional 1970 (10th place in group B, last), Apertura 2007 (19th place), Clausura 2008 (18th place) — but one way or another, the fans are proud of this

Famous players: Luis Tonelotto (top scorer of the club in the major leagues — 15 goals), Martin Bravo (11 goals in the major leagues).

Principal rivals: Club Sportivo Desamparados of San Juan, Club Atletico Godoy Cruz of Mendoza. nine0005

For Argentina, the province of San Juan is first of all wine, olives, parks, gardens, hockey, rugby, cycling… and somewhere in the end football

San Juan — a city in the west of Argentina, the capital of the province of the same name. The population of the city is 112 thousand people. San Juan is often referred to as an «oasis city» due to its large amount of greenery. The city «shakes» from time to time, as evidenced by earthquakes, the largest occurred in 1944 and 1977 years.

The city was founded on June 13, 1562 by conquistador Juan Hufre and bears the name of Ivan the Baptist.

Memorable and most important dates:

May 21, 1862 — the creation of the National College of San Juan, one of the three oldest in Argentina.

1870 — Creation of the Bank of Cuyo.

1885 — 1994 – there is a railway connection with the city

January 15, 1944 — a strong earthquake, the city was completely destroyed, the death toll was about 10 thousand people. nine0005

1948-1961 — reconstruction of the city after the earthquake.

1996 — Mobile communications and the Internet appeared in San Juan.

The climate in San Juan is semi-desert, with a significant temperature range. The average temperature in January is +27, in July +8.

There are two universities and many other educational institutions in the city (there are about 50 state colleges alone).

Distance to major cities — Mendoza (168 km), San Luis (424 km), La Rioja (458 km), Cordoba (607 km), Santa Fe (939 km), Buenos Aires (1215 km).

Sports life in the city:

Football — two major football clubs:

— San Martin (Spanish Club Atlético San Martín ) — founded on September 27, 1907, the stadium. Hilario Sanchez.

— Desamparados (Spanish: Club Sportivo Desamparados ) — founded on September 10, 1919, El Serpentario stadium.

Cycling — San Juan — the national capital of cycling: Pedal Club Olimpia, Alvear Cicles Club, Club Huracán, Club Independiente. nine0005

Hockey — the city is considered the capital of Argentine hockey. Most of the Argentina national team players play for San Juan clubs. The San Juan Stadium has hosted the Ice Hockey World Championship five times. The most famous hockey clubs are Olympia, Social, Estudiantil, Concepción, Trinidad.

Basketball, rugby, tennis are also quite popular.

Other attractions of the city and its environs:

The vineyards that make up the San Juan wine tour (about 100 thousand tourists annually). nine0005

The highest located wind generator in the world. It is located at an altitude of 4110 meters above sea level and is owned by the gold mining company Barrick Gold/

Cathedral, one of the newest cathedrals in Argentina (opened in 1979).

House Museum of Domingo Sarmiento (President of Argentina).

Lots of museums.

Festival of the Sun, held annually since 1972.

The Franklin Library, the oldest library in South America, has been in operation since 1886.
