The menu did not state gluten free options but when I asked, the server was helpful. I know paella is usually GF so I went with that and it was delicious and I did not have any reaction.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience eating here! First off, I am a sensitive celiac. I did bring a gluten free card that was transcribed in Spanish (and I do know how to speak basic Spanish) so that helped a lot! Definitely bring a card.
The waitress was wonderful and had a conversation with the manager and head chef. They were able to specially cook me mofongo with skirt steak. And honestly it was one of the most delicious meals I had the entire time during the trip. And I did not get sick.
This place is VERY busy so come early because you will have a 2 hour wait haha but it is definitely worth it.

No, they have no clue.
One very rude employee told me one dish was not gluten free because it has butter. There are better places to eat in Old San Juan. Don’t waste your time (and get sick) there.

Great local cuisine and while they do not have a GF menu most of the food is prepared from scratch and staff are knowledgeable about ingredients. I ate here twice during my stay in PR and had no gluten reaction.
