Fun stop while visiting Old San Juan!
Happened upon this fun little spot while exploring.
Tons of pigeons waiting to be fed — you can purchase a bag of seed for $2 at the time of this writing. My 20+ year old daughter and I had a great time here. Also an incredible view from this small park.

Pass the pigeons and relax by the park kiosk cafe
The Pigeons Park is set on an elevated scenic spot at the southern end of Calle del Cristo in the very SJ center.
I totally agree with a fellow traveler below pigeons are flying rats, so we just walked through this park (which is very small btw) and sat at the park extension which has several benches and a small kiosk cafe. We enjoyed the San Juan bay views in peace and relaxation.Written February 2, 2023

Here A Birdie, There A Birdie…..
Beautiful green space with overarching banyon trees, and oh yeah, hundreds of hungry pigeons just waiting for a handout or is that a handful of bird seed.
Wear a hat and gloves if you intend to feed them or let them light on your head or arms. This is preventive action so as to avoid that old wives tail of bird «doo» being lucky!!!! Park overlooks the murallas and San Juan harbor.

Everything is covered in bird excrements including your clothing and the top of your head. Pigeons are flying rats and should not be fed to become a pest.

Bird feeding
Sep 2022 • Couples
We walked all the way up to see Fortaleza and this park was at the top right before heading to Fortaleza. We happened to come across it by mistake. It is a small park by the Capilla de Santo Cristo. As you walk in the park has many pigeons which are waiting to be fed. They literally fly up onto your hands and arms. All you have to do is stretch your arms. It is a very peaceful and tranquil place with plenty of shade if you need a rest from the sun.

We were surprised that the birds would just hop up on your hand if you hold it out! From the park, you can see lovely views of the water, too. Don’t come here if you’re phobic about birds. There really are a lot of pigeons!

Pigeon Park was so much fun. They sell the corn feed to feed the pigeons. The pigeons are careful when eating from your hands, walking on you and holding on to your arms or hands. We did not get pooped on either. This was one of our highlights on our trip. It was so much fun. Highly recommend this.

So many Pigeons
Nov 2021 • Solo
So I am willing to admit that I didn’t realize that Palomas was Spanish for pigeons. There were a ton of them inside and just outside the park. The park get was closed (told it was usually open on the weekend, but it may not be because of the protests and the proximity to the governor’s mansion. It is still a beautiful park and there is another slightly smaller park just down from it that is open and affords the same views.

Beautiful park with great views
Mar 2020
This is a stunningly beautiful park with great views of the bay. There are a lot of pigeons in this park, as well as a fair amount of cats, but they seem to get along fine. We weren’t here on a day they were selling bird seed for the pigeons but we were told it was quite a treat as the pigeons will cover your head’

«Fun Place for the Family»
Near the Paseo de la Princesa, families can take their kids to a fun place where they can interact with the local pigeons. Young children especially love this opportunity. The pigeons congregate here, always hungry, and for one dollar you can buy a bag of dried corn to feed them right from your hands. It’s a great way to squeeze in a little rest without the kids knowing!

Worth seeing and going down. And then climb up to the peak.
Bus 311 arrived at the crater from Las Palmas. Across the road from the stop begins the descent. We were at 10 am, besides us there was 1 more person. This is a great place to stop and take a break from the bustle of the city. The silence is such that you can hear the pigeons cooing on the rocks. The descent of 200 meters down was easy, the ascent was harder, because the path was at an angle of at least 45 degrees. For lovers of hiking, I highly recommend going down, because from below you can see beautiful views, a different angle and a different feeling of this place. After the descent, we climbed Bandama Peak. The views from there are mesmerizing. I recommend comfortable, non-slip shoes. Personally, I liked Bandama more than Vesuvius in nature.

Must visit with children and unpretentious tourists
The Oceanarium will be of interest to children and unpretentious adult tourists. Unpretentious because probably for those who often visit such places, this oceanarium will seem ordinary.
For those who want to entertain children and unwind themselves, this place will be interesting. Oceanium is new and therefore everything is in good condition. Everyone wrote about the prices: 25 euros for an adult and 12 euros for a child.
Children will be interested not only in a variety of fish, but also in other Sor animals. Of course, they will be most impressed by those places of the oceanarium, where hundreds, if not thousands, of all kinds of fish swim in huge aquariums, ranging from several species of sharks to moray eels and other interesting reptiles. There are several such halls and they are quite impressive with their size of several floors. Also, there are definitely aquariums here, in which sharks and other fish will swim right above you in a glass arch.
In one of these aquariums (where you go in a spiral of several floors along the aquarium tower) we almost turned to the exit and almost missed the most interesting places. Be careful.
Near the aquariums there are monitors with photos and descriptions of fish and living creatures. But the Russian language is not there.
Total, a must-visit with children and for a variety of beach holidays.

Pleasantly surprised 2018 • Family vacation
We stopped after the observation deck to go home afterwards. A very cozy park, beautifully illuminated in the evening, with two playgrounds for children under 3-4 and for those who are older. Well-groomed, neat, such an island of calm in the capital of the island. ))) An excellent respite, as already mentioned in the reviews earlier. For parents, it is so simply indispensable to take a breath.

Great park
July 2017 • Solo travel
This park is located next to the historic Hotel Santa Catalina(*****). This is the best park I have visited in Las Palmas. The park with a variety of exotic trees creates an atmosphere of tranquility. I was also pleased with the abundance of fountains, which are especially good in the evening (thanks to the backlight). However, keep in mind that the fountains sometimes do not work. But still I put it perfectly!!!
P. S. By the way, on palm trees, in the park you can see parrots, and swans in the pond.

Doramas Park is a great place for an evening promenade on a quiet and warm evening in Las Palmas.
Such a fragrant floral fragrance, rarely seen even in the park of small towns)
In general, be sure to plan a visit to the Doramas park, because whoever has not been here has not seen the real Las Palmas.

Very nice little shady park. Nice landscape, there is a pond with fish and swans. Here they walk with small children.
