Una de las mejores playas en Puerto Rico. me encanta el area que esta al lado que es como un parque y tiene una pequena playa privada. Excelente para tambien hacer “snorkeling” pero tienes que tener cuidado ya que hay muchos erizos.

Una playa preciosa,PERO,muy descuidada,la parte de acampar no cuenta con seguridad,el municipio no provee personal que garantize la seguridad de los que acampan, no hay mecanismos de comunicacion o medios a menos que tengas un celuar !LA SEGURIDAD EN NUESTRAS PLAYAS ES MAS IMPORTANTE QUE UNA PLAYA BONITA!

Soy nacida y criada en esta hermosa playa de cerro gordo, todas las mañanas voy hacer mi caminata como rutina por todo el balneario,hacen alrededor de un mes hay una pluma rota del area de las duchas donde se estan perdiendo miles de galones de agua diario. al parecer al personal q trabaja ahi no le importa pq no hacen nada de nada..compañeros mio de caminata se han acercado a ala oficina a dar la querella con relacion a al problema lo q les dicen q ya ha sido reportado.todavia seguimos esperand

El lugar es espectacular de veras que si para acampar en familia se pasa ricooooo Lo malo es la seguridad y la falta de luz porque se han robado la cableria y la limpieza si el Municipio pone de su parte este lugar seria perfecto

Excelente playa para personas que no esten interesadas en hacer surfing ya que las olas sn bien bajitas. Lo unico malo que supe recientemente es que la playa sufre a veces de contaminacion me imagino por los rios que desembocan cerca.

Estuvimos en el fin de semana del 11 al 13 julio 2014,de verdad que recomiendo el lugar se pasa super bien el area esta en muy buenas condiciones y hay buena seguridad,lo unico que hay que llevar buenas linternas ya que no hay luz,si hay agua y los ba~os estan en buenas condiciones y cuentan con duchas,el area de la playa esta en buen cuidado,para el proximo a~o volvemos acampar ahi nuevamente

El área es espectacular, pero q pena q lo tengan tan descuidado. El área de acampar, NO TIENE LUZ, los baños, HORROR, dan asco. No entiendo como alquilan unas facilidades con semejante abandono. Consejo: al menos del en un mantenimiento adecuado a esos baños.

• Bueno el trail q se utilizo para el xterra estuvo bn fun! Usualmente se utiliza para bicicletas!

• Great snorkeling beach! Here I saw brain corals and beautiful fish 🐟 and underwater floor.

• More tips.. If u come with some snorkel gear you can go out pass the buoys n see a bunch of fishes and collect some real nice sea shells, but watch out for the Erizos (sea urchins), they everywhere.

• If you are going to go camping, make sure to bring a generator since there is no electricity….and plenty of bug spray!!!

• Friends getaway, snorkeling, great views, walking, parking $3

• While snorkeling Outside of buoys I’ve sometimes been told, especially on really busy days, to use some sort of portable buoy.

• Be adventurous and go up and maybe wander off the hiking trail

• It’s the best beach it the north of Puerto Rico.

• Bring a blanket and a picnic basket, and walk by the camping area, where there’s a hidden beach behind. Leer más
