6 resorts where you can leave everything to the last penny without regret

If you managed to make good money, or maybe win the lottery or get an inheritance, then there are always great ideas for you where you can spend this money. Well, for example, in the beautiful resorts of Puerto Rico, Fiji, Bora Bora, the Seychelles or somewhere in other similar places.

Today all conditions have been created for this. Luxurious holidays in five-star hotels will be offered to you in the most exotic corners of the world. Here you will be expected by the most friendly staff and service at the highest level, a rich menu with an offer to taste the most exquisite dishes presented by traditional cuisines.

Of course, the prices here will be appropriate, but rest in the highest class, believe me, it’s worth it. Below you will find 6 luxury resorts that you should visit if you are planning to take a trip during your vacation.

Laucala Island (Fiji)

Preserving the unique and rich nature of Luakala was the main goal of the first owners of the island when they set about creating one of the most expensive resorts in the world. A unique landscape has been preserved in this corner of the Earth: extinct volcanoes overgrown with impenetrable tropical forests, snow-white coral beaches and coastal mangroves.

The island has one of the most luxurious hotels in the world – Laucala Island Resort, which consists of 25 modern comfortable villas scattered throughout the island (on the main photo). Each of them is designed for simultaneous accommodation of up to 80 vacationers. The infrastructure of the resort also includes five restaurants and bars. Here you will be served delicious food and specialty drinks.

Bora-Bora Pearl Beach Resort & Spa – Motu Tewairoa (French Polynesia)

Guests at this luxurious resort have the opportunity to customize their own suites. Here you can stay in deluxe rooms, which offer beautiful views of the garden with a private pool, or in rooms with a private hot tub overlooking the ocean, or you can stay in a separate comfortable overwater bungalow, from which you have direct access to the azure waters of the lagoon.

The hotel has three restaurants and two bars where you can order delicious seafood dishes and drinks prepared by professional bartenders. Rooms are equipped with flat-screen TVs, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, etc. For outdoor enthusiasts, the hotel has a tennis court, as well as a large swimming pool and a diving center. The resort also has two boutiques.

Dorado Beach, The Ritz-Carlton Nature Reserve (Puerto Rico)

Thanks to the highest level of service that is inherent in this hotel, and carefully thought-out infrastructure, Dorado Beach has earned fame as one of the best places in the Caribbean, where the rich, demanding and discerning can relax clients. The territory of the hotel covers an area of about 560 hectares. Here is a real reserve of untouched tropical forests, the preservation of which has contributed a lot to its former owners – the Rockefellers.

The hotel consists of several buildings, one of which is the former residence of its former owners. Its infrastructure also includes several restaurants with bars, a large golf club with outdoor playgrounds, as well as a SPA center, a library, special areas for recreation and walks, and much more that helps diversify your vacation.

Cape Thieves, Hawkes Bay (New Zealand)

One of the most famous sights on New Zealand’s east coast is Cape Thieves. So named James Cook during his first expedition in 1769year. The cape is located twenty kilometers from the city of Napier. By car, you can get here in just a quarter of an hour.

A small tourist camp has been set up on the shores of Hawkes Bay. To get to the cape itself, you need to either sail on a boat by sea, or get on a special tractor with a trailer along the steep coast. But it will be possible to drive there only during low tide.

Cape Thieves itself became famous after a golf club with an 18-hole golf course was opened here in 2004. It is broken on a ridge next to steep cliffs. It is considered one of the best golf courses in the world. In addition to the golf club, a sheep farm has been built here on the cape, as well as a chic five-star hotel with a restaurant and bar where you can always relax after the game, sitting in easy chairs and admiring the charming views of the sea.

Sal Salis, Cape Range National Park (Western Australia)

If you want to experience the wilderness without being an inch away from the benefits of modern civilization, Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef is the place to be. worth the trip. It is located on the coast of Western Australia. Sand dunes surround the hotel on all sides. Sal Salis is a camp consisting of nine tents, where each client expects a comfortable soft bed, a private bathroom and a chic kitchen with fine wines.

Guests who come here have a great opportunity to get acquainted with the largest representatives of the world of fish – whale sharks. They appear every year in these waters during their migration to the shores of Asia.

Steamboat Bay Fishing Club (Noyes Island, Alaska)

Let’s just say that a trip to this fishing paradise is not for the faint of heart. The only resort, or rather, the only building, is located on the remote island of Noyes, in Steamboat Bay. You can only get here by seaplane, flying over a winding gorge filled with glacier.

So why do people try to get here if the journey is so long and still fraught with some danger? Yes, because here is one of the best places in the world for fishing, where you can catch halibut, sea bass and king salmon. Some of them reach a weight of more than 25 kg.

Just Back From … Long weekend in Puerto Rico

Just Back From … Long weekend in Puerto Rico with social set.

Flight Plan : Puerto Rico is an easy trip from New York, many direct flights to San Juan and only 4 hours flight time. Not too bad, and actually a welcome getaway for a few hours on a flight after work. At midnight, I was met at the airport by a chauffeur from my hotel, which was a 40-minute drive from the airport.

Where I’m staying : Dorado Beach, Ritz Carlton Reserve. This is one of the best hotels so I knew it would not be a high rise tourist beach hotel. “In today’s world, we need places of quiet beauty where people can get away, relax, regain their spirits and energy,” Laurence Rockefeller said. He founded Dorado Beach Resort in 1958, and given the state of the world today, his words run deeper than ever.

Provided by Ritz Carlton Dorado Beach

The entire 14,000-acre property is largely recognized as the Caribbean’s first eco-luxury resort and has an air of effortless elegance combined with contemporary design. It blends seamlessly into the nature of the surrounding geography and respects the natural beauty of the land and the wide coastline. The property also comes with a powerful history; so many iconic names survive there, from Amelia Earhart to President Eisenhower, Ava Gardner, John F. Kennedy and Joan Crawford. Even now, superstars and influential figures visit them regularly, and they are sure that they will not be disturbed and will be able to relax in seclusion.

Provided by The Ritz Carlton Dorado Beach

My recent stay made it easy to understand why and how this hotel attracts a particular guest. It’s a pampering to the max kind of place, but not so much that it feels stuffy and old school. Too much fun to enjoy with lots of mouth-watering cocktails and a paradise with a wide selection of great places to eat, from cafe-style sweet cafe gourmet food to sumptuous, high-end fine dining. spots and a couple of eclectic kitchen experiences in between. Your every whim is satisfied here; If you have more time, try them all.

Tour Group : My weekend was essentially a Dorado holiday, but also a social gathering. The group was made up of friends of Ariana Rockefeller, descendants of the property’s founder’s great-niece. She gathered her friends to celebrate the launch of her latest design collaboration, a line of signature accessories designed specifically for Dorado Beach. The group included Coco Rocha, Malin Ackerman, Jack Donelly, Alex Lundquist, Genevieve Gorder, Daniel Benedict, Andrew Saffir, Sophie Summer and Rob Thomas.

Best Daytime Activity : “Sea, sand, sun and serenity” is Lawrence Rockefeller’s vision for Dorado Beach that led me to the spa. I have been lucky in my career to experience many different spa hotel moments, but this one honestly ranks very highly.

The Dorado Spa is located in an old working hacienda that is almost 100 years old. Outside the main building is the 90-year-old El Coupey tree, which looms from the outside like a beautiful but strange living prop from the Harry Potter movie. Passing by huge winding branches, you will pass through giant old Spanish doors and find yourself at the entrance to the spa. Upon entering, you will pass through the most incredible apothecary’s entrance, with high rafters littered with tall fragrant herbs and dried plants.

courtesy

Your first glimpse beyond the exquisitely styled entrance is the serene infinity pool, and you immediately feel calm as you soak in the fragrant essences in the air. Built on an old fruit plantation, Spa Botanico is an award-winning 5-acre sanctuary that combines Puerto Rican ingredients with the soothing local traditions of the island’s indigenous Taino people. The entire spa is designed to provide a holistic sense of well-being, and I, for one, can testify that this is the case.

After being personally greeted by my therapist Mary Ann, I was led through a spectacular field of miniature pineapples to one of their beautifully designed pavilions – you can choose from an indoor or outdoor experience or even a treetop seat.

Provided by The Ritz Carlton Dorado Beach

I had a wonderful deep tissue massage called Mano Santas using local oils and herbs. All preparatory oils are made by the therapists themselves at the spa, using local plants. Everything is prepared on site and it is very special to experience the integration of nature into treatments that are performed exclusively outdoors in a lush, tropical and very private setting. There are actually two special garden settings – one for men and one for women.

After the massage, I went for a swim in the women’s pool. I took a super hot simmering jacuzzi pool and then took a dip in the ice pool and felt completely awake. Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation and birdsong, I could happily stay in this inner sanctuary all day long. But there was too much fun for the fun group that was there with me over the weekend.

Best I ate : We spent our first evening dining on the sand roasting Ariana at a beautifully flickering long candlelit table. Good conversation and many stories and secrets were shared. The entire escape culminated in a gourmet extravaganza at Dorado’s signature restaurant, Mi Casa, run by celebrity chef José Andrés. With several chic restaurants in the US, he is a celebrity in culinary circles and is known for introducing Americans to avant-garde and traditional Spanish cuisine. After local rum and many, many dishes that are arguably the best food I have ever had in the Caribbean, I retired to my glorious room to dream of another visit to Dorado. Such a magical, special place…

Courtesy of The Ritz Carlton Dorado Beach

Island Style : The Ariana collection consists of beautiful bags and clutches, the perfect accessories for traveling on and off vacation. The line is inspired by her favorite equestrian pursuits, with horse beech details expertly crafted in waxed canvas and details in luxurious gold Python trim. This is a look that is perfect for the new season where gold is on the color palette. All bags will be available exclusively at Dorado, and it’s a pretty decent homage to her great uncle’s vision of beauty and nature at home.
