Clear turquoise waters, white sand and the rustle of palm trees – this is how many people imagine their dream vacation. The Caribbean Sea is just the place where you can make your dreams come true. Islands such as the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos, Antigua, Anguilla and Aruba are known for their charming coastlines, but there are also a number of other more secluded islands with great beaches, hotels and attractions. The blue sea and dazzling white sand border here with the wild jungle, and the coastal reefs attract diving enthusiasts from all over the world.

Grace Bay

Grace Bay is located on the island of Providenciales off the Turks and Caicos coast. This place seems too beautiful to be real. Soft white sand and clear sea in stunning shades of blue stretch for eight kilometers, and a coral reef stretches along the entire coast. You can swim in the shallows, or go to the reef to watch the rays, turtles and tropical fish of the Princess Alexandra Marine Park. Several of the island’s most exclusive resorts line the coastline, mingling with a variety of restaurants. Here you can even meet JoJo, a friendly wild dolphin who loves to swim along this chic coastline.

Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman

Turquoise waters and snow-white sand, lined with causarinas and coconut palms, are the main attractions of this famous beach in the Cayman Islands. After a blissful day at the beach, you can relax in one of the nearby restaurants. Grand Cayman is also known for its excellent diving, where most of the points of interest can be reached directly from the shore.

Pink Sand Beach, Bahamas

As the name suggests, the soft sands along this pretty coastline on Bahamian Harbor Island are a soft, pale pink. This effect is created thanks to the pink crushed shells, from which the beach has been formed over millions of years. Several upscale resorts are located right along the coast, offering a comfortable infrastructure for their guests. Trunk Bay is one of the favorites in the list of Caribbean resorts, located in the National Park of the Virgin Islands. Off the coast are numerous emerald islets, ideal for diving. Here you can endlessly swim in clear warm waters, watching the carefree life of rare species of fish. Surprisingly, special signs are even installed under water, which make it easy to navigate the features of the coral reef. After a relaxing day at the beach, you can head to the park and explore the remains of the historic sugar plantations. Entertainment here includes a bathhouse, a snack bar, a gift shop, and a scuba equipment rental service. Since this beach is in a national park, visitors must pay an entrance fee.

Shoal Bay, Anguilla

Shoal Bay in Anguilla will help you realize all your tropical fantasies. Curving seductively for over three kilometers along the north coast of Anguilla, this wide stretch of bright white sand and clear jade sea is famous for its fish-rich coral gardens, a fantastic spot for snorkeling. Although one of Anguilla’s most popular beaches, it never seems crowded. Restaurants and hotels line the shores, where you can rent umbrellas and sun loungers during the day, or just lie back in the shade of a coconut tree. Flamenco Beach, Puerto Rico

One of Puerto Rico’s natural gems is this beautiful Flamenco Beach with dazzling white sand and turquoise clear water. This is a bright embodiment of the dream of a paradise on Earth, where you can spend your dream vacation. The clear waters of Flamenco Beach are typically calm, making it a great spot for snorkeling. Magens Bay, St. Thomas

Magens Bay is nestled in the green hills surrounding it, sprawling in a U-shape on St. Thomas Island in the Virgin Islands. Its white sands and clear waters create a striking contrast to the lush vegetation that slopes down from the hills. Snorkeling in the clear shallows, fishing and kayaking on calm waves – what else do you need for a paradise trip? It has all the conditions for a first-class holiday with excellent tourist infrastructure. When you get tired of a beach holiday, feel free to go on an excursion to the Natural Reserve. Its many trails lead straight to the top of the hill, then gently descend to the bay, where you can cool off in the cool waters.

Negril Beach, Jamaica

Negril Beach in Jamaica is also known as Seven Mile Beach. It stretches from Blood Bay in the north to Long Bay and Negril Cliffs in the south. Clear turquoise waters, light cream sand, coconut palms and sea grapes provide a haven from the tropical sun. Popular activities include swimming, sunbathing, diving and sightseeing. After a relaxing day at the beach, unwind at one of the resort’s restaurants, sitting under one of the coconut trees along the beach. There are many other attractions around the resort town of Negril, from healing mineral springs to rich wetland forests.

Saline Beach, Saint Barthélemy

For lovers of solitude while traveling, Saline Beach on the island of St. Barthélemy is ideal. Its relaxed island vibe and beautiful beaches are considered the prettiest on the island. Fringing the south coast of St. Barthélemy, this peaceful crescent-shaped cove is in the distance, which only adds to its charm. To get to the beach, you have to walk up the hill through the dunes, but in the end you will be rewarded with heavenly landscapes. Perfectly calm waters and a sandy bottom make Saline Beach a great place to swim, although the surf can be quite rough on a windy day. It is a good idea to bring an umbrella along as well as snacks and water as the beach lacks shade and offers no facilities. Although nudism is officially banned on St. Barthélemy, beachgoers often disregard this rule.

Eagle Beach, Aruba

Surrounded by picturesque Divi Divi trees and coconut palms, Eagle Beach in Aruba is considered one of the best stretches of the island’s coastline. The white sands and clear sea are in harmony with the thatched awnings for vacationers, and the many entertainments will not let you get bored. For a more relaxing holiday, head to the south end of the beach, away from jet skis and noisy rides. At the northern end of the beach are the two iconic Divi Divi trees, which are the most popular spot for photographs by tourists. Turtles nest in season at Eagle Beach, but vacationers are urged to stay away from marked nests.

Bavaro Beach, Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic

White sand and greenish-blue waters are the main attractions of this popular beach in the resort town of Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic. It’s no surprise that so many five-star resorts are clustered along the coast, as paradise-seekers flock here from all over the world to bask on the glistening sands. Besides swimming and sunbathing, there are plenty of activities to keep you busy, from scuba diving and kayaking to catamaran trips and parasailing. Nearby are world-class golf courses, Scape Park for sand buggies, cable cars and excursions to the beautiful Hoyo Azul lagoon. Numerous souvenir sellers also stroll along the beach.

Crescent Bay, Antigua

On an island with 360 beaches, the competition can be fierce, but when the conditions are perfect, Crescent Bay is the best of them all. This beautiful bay at the southeast end of Antigua is famous for its lush vegetation creating a wild natural atmosphere. Trees give tourists shade even on the hottest days. The reef offshore offers good snorkeling, except on very windy days. At this time, it is better to just go for a walk along the beach.
