Stunning beach.
One of my faves. Not much around so bring lunch. I remember a small lunch stand in the lot with a crazy lady talking to her iguana. All the food was covered in flies, but delicious.Absolutely amazing beach! Snorkeling reef to right of cove. I am in love! Culebra Beach Rentals at Flamenco are the best option, quaint little villas, friendly staff, outdoor grills, hammock’s etc! <3
Last stop on the S.S. Tobias Beach & Snorkel tour. Stunning long sandy beach that’s inexplicably not crowded. Arriving at and departing by sea made the experience even more wonderfully surreal.
This beach is amazing! It’s one of the best that I’ve ever been to and I’ve been to many. Beautiful, clear water. Deep enough to swim over the corral when snorkeling. Breathtakingly beautiful!
Perfect sand, perfect shape, perfect water, plenty of space for everyone and food, parking, & basic sanitary facilities are steps away, but you can’t see them making Flamenco Beach.
..well, perfect!Very good beach. Nice sky, water, mountain and sand. When u go there, prepare towel, swimming suits, rent umbrella and golf car, get some finger foods on the beach.

One of the top beaches in the world. Long beach with shallow water and calm waves. Very clear water. Areas with coral and sea life for snorkeling.
Once you enter the beach, head left until the beach turns into rocks. On the left of that, there will be a path to a small stream. Bring food for the turtles that live in that stream!

This beach is empty M to F. Saturday and Sunday you get a lot if people from mainland PR coming over on the ferry and it is more crowded with rowdy teens. (I feel old typing that one)
If you’re going to snorke bring your gear or get there before 5pm to rental from the guys at the beach. Bring CASH

Ranked as one of the top beaches in the world, Flamenco is a postcard-perfect stretch of white sand and turquoise waters.
First thing first – reaching there is a pain – means
a) Rent a car- 50 KM- 60-70 Mins ride
b) Reach Ceiba -would suggest booking ferry tickets in advance (gets sold out quickly, especially on Weekends) 50 Minutes Ferry ride to Culebra Island
c) $5 shuttle to Flamenco beach, as its a popular beach, you will get a shared taxi outside the terminal
It takes app 4-5 hrs and then you will reach there but trust me, that beach is worth it. The moment we saw this, we were like – “wowwwwwww”
The horseshoe-shaped silver beach is indeed picture-postcard pretty, but it can get crowded on the weekends. We went there on Tuesday so there was not much rush.
It does have amenities though: the only beach on Culebra that does.
Beach is practically wave-less, which makes it ideal for snorkeling, swimming, unwinding, playing in the sand, or simply beach-bumming.
If you were to spend the entire day at Flamenco, you’ll observe a spectacular show of color changes on the water, ranging from clear like glass, soft baby blue to turquoise to deep emerald green. We hit it at 2 PM, with amazing colors. also what amazed me- it’s sand. The sand of Flamenco is light, white, soft, very fine, unlike Escambron-Condado beach. perfectly landscaped shore with green rolling hills as the backdrop, lush tropical plants providing shade to visitors
While you’re there, don’t miss your chance to bump into Flamenco’s most iconic attraction, The Tank, which is a reminder of the US Navy’s occupancy of Culebra.
Food & Drink: there are 2 food trucks near to beach offering local food and drinks.
How to reach there by Car-
If you are planning to Visit Playa Flamenco and come back to San Juan then I would suggest taking route 3while going and Route 187 while coming back. a couple of reasons for this-
1) Take Route-3. You wanna save money on toll skipping Route-66 (no sense paying rental company for its transponder and $10/day)
2) while coming back to San Juan, take Route 3 & 187. Its Scenic route
3) On Route-187 – Pinones area which is famous for its street/roadside small/decent food joint – you don’t wanna miss if you are a foodie

Words nor pictures can do this beach justice. Water is so beautiful, calm, and clear. Sand is amazingly soft and white. Cliffs and hills surround you on all sides. Simply breathtaking. We flew over from Ceiba and the aerial view was surreal as well. Come early in the day when its not busy. There are excellent reefs all the way to the right by the old pier that are easy snorkeling, we saw a countless number of different fish.
Put this place on your bucket list. Truly amazing day and a half!!more

Flamenco Beach was VERY NICE early in the morning. Took a taxi for $5 per person at 6.a.m. from the ferry port area & from 615 to about 830 a.m. the beach had about four to eight people on it and the water was BEAUTIFUL! I heard they been trying to charge people to enter the beach but at 6 a.m. I just walked in and enjoyed the beach. I do have to say if they are going to charge for the beach…..1) They better clean up the seaweed & 2) They better repaint that tank to the U.S. flag or Puerto Rican flag for photos! But it was a WONDERFUL BEACH to enjoy!

From certain point of entries to beach, they do ask for 2 $ entry fee per person ( as of Apr 2022) to enter to the beach. Not a lot of restaurant around this beach, so bring your own food. Chair and umbrella rental is available. You can also do Shuttle/Taxi from Culebra ferry port to reach to this beach. Crystal clear water. Nor Crowded during weekdays! It rains on and off but it dries out pretty quick. Not a lot of options for Water sports at this beach. Best Views.more

Memories Flamenco Beach Resort 5* received its first guests in the mid-2000s. The total area of the complex is 85 hectares, the number of rooms is more than 600 rooms. The following accommodation options are offered here:
- junior suite – one room with a king-size bed or two doubles. There is a balcony or terrace;
- suite – zoning of the space into the sleeping and living areas is provided, a balcony or terrace is provided.
The All Inclusive concept is available 24 hours a day. The main restaurant, Vista Hermosa, serves buffet breakfasts, lunches and dinners. A la carte restaurants will delight you with cuisines of different nations – Asian, Creole, Mediterranean.
