Clima de Puerto Rico. Verano todo el año

El clima de Puerto Rico es de tipo tropical cálido – húmedo. Un clima agradable y constante durante todo el año con una variación de temperaturas muy pequeña. Las precipitaciones abundan y se hacen notar regularmente. Aunque especialmente se dan en los meses de Abril a Octubre, durante la estación lluviosa. El resto del año las lluvias siguen teniendo presencia aunque pierden mucha intensidad. Se dice que en Puerto Rico es Verano durante todo el año.

La temperaturas medias en la isla rondan los 26ºC. Y no cambian drásticamente de una temporada a otra. No suelen variar más de 4ºC entre Marzo, el mes más frío y Julio, el más caluroso. El Sur sí que registra valores algo mayores que la región Norte. Pero no más de 2ºC ó 3ºC. En las montañas del interior estas diferencias sí que son algo mayores que en el resto de la isla.

La pluviosidad media anual puede variar mucho de un año a otro. Aunque los valores medios suelen situarse entre los 1500 mm y 1800 mm. El promedio de días con lluvia al año es de 180 a 195 aproximadamente.

La costa norte suele recibir entre 1800 mm y 2000 mm. Mientras que en la costa sur el promedio es de 1000mm. La zona suroeste es la más seca de toda la isla con valores medios anuales de 400 mm. Por contra, las zonas montañosas, son las más húmedas y pueden registrar valores por encima de 4000 mm.

Otra singularidad del clima de Puerto Rico es la gran cantidad de horas de sol que recibe. Ya que supera las 3000 horas al año. Pese a ser un lugar donde las lluvias tienen mucha presencia, los cielos nubosos y las tormentas pronto dejan paso al sol, el rey de los cielos puertorriqueños la mayor parte del año. El clima de Puerto Rico se asemeja mucho al de su vecina República Dominicana.

Clima de Puerto Rico: Estación de lluvias

La estación húmeda o de lluvias transcurre desde Mayo hasta Octubre. Desde finales de Primavera hasta principios del Otoño. Durante estos meses el clima de Puerto Rico es especialmente caluroso, húmedo y lluvioso.

La temperatura media se mueve entre los 27ºC-29ºC. Con máximas diurnas que pueden llegar a los 32ºC en la zona Norte y 37ºC en la región Sur. Las mínimas no suelen bajar de 21ºC en el Norte, ni de 24ºC en la parte Sur.

Los altos niveles de humedad, alrededor del 80 %, hace aumentar algún grado la sensación de calor en la isla. Aunque, en las zonas costeras, la brisa marina ayuda a refrescar el ambiente de bochorno de los días más calurosos. La temperatura de las aguas suele rondar los 27ºC – 28ºC durante estos meses.

Las lluvias tienen un gran protagonismo en esta época. Alrededor del 75% de las lluvias totales se registran en estos meses. Son lluvias propias de las zonas tropicales. Se suelen formar al atardecer o durante la noche. Fuertes tormentas que descargan con intensidad una gran cantidad de agua pero que en poco tiempo desaparecen dejando despejado el cielo puertorriqueño. Aproximadamente, entre 15 y 19 días al mes llueve sobre la isla.

Entre Julio y Noviembre se produce la temporada de huracanes y fuertes tormentas tropicales. Agosto y Septiembre son los meses de mayor actividad. Provocan fuertes inundaciones y corrimientos de tierra que suelen afectar en muchas ocasiones a la red de carreteras del país. Aunque, gracias a los pronósticos de los satélites, son fenómenos que se prevén y se avisan con suficiente antelación.

Clima de Puerto Rico: Estación seca

El resto del año el clima de Puerto Rico se vuelve algo más suave. Con temperaturas medias de 3 ó 4 grados menos. Y una humedad menor que hace que el ambiente sea algo más seco.

Las precipitaciones siguen teniendo presencia aunque en menor medida. Los promedios mensuales varían entre 60 y 80 mm. Muy por debajo de los 130 mm – 200 mm de los meses lluviosos. Los días de lluvia se reducen aproximadamente a 10 al mes. Aunque ya no son tormentas sino generalmente pequeñas lloviznas que ayudan a refrescar el ambiente.

Los cielos despejados y soleados siguen siendo los protagonistas durante eta temporada.

Mejor época para visitar Puerto Rico

La mejor época para visitar Puerto Rico es durante la estación seca. Entre Diciembre y Marzo. Las temperaturas van a ser muy agradables. Las lluvias intensas ya han pasado y evitas poder toparte con huracanes o tormentas tropicales.

El mayor inconveniente es que es temporada alta en Puerto Rico. Los precios son algo más altos que durante el resto del año. Se recomienda hacer reservas con 2 ó 3 meses de antelación.

La segunda temporada alta es durante el mes de Julio. Es cuando la mayoría de los isleños toman las vacaciones.

According to forecasts, revenue and profit indicators in 2020 will be 88% of their pre-crisis level.

Despite some recovery, the risk of bankruptcy among companies remains at a high level – 32%.

Companies from sectors such as trade and services, financial activities, and transportation and storage are most at risk of bankruptcy.

As Rustam Yuldashev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Nawinia, said, “starting from February, we began to plan to reduce our revenue. ”

“But, we didn’t expect the pandemic to go beyond China, and at the end of March there would be a devaluation of the ruble…” he said. “In fact, for April-May, the drop (revenue) in our company amounted to 25-30%, on average for the industry (logistics) – within 20-30%.” According to him, in general, according to forecasts, by the end of 2020, the drop in revenue in the sector may be in the range of 10-15%.

CSR experts concluded that today the demand for technology is higher in business functions such as marketing, sales and production.

In terms of support measures, 8 out of 10 companies say they need government support, and 7 out of 10 indicate that support measures do not apply to them.
