Startups with Russian founders faced difficulties in the US state of Delaware, which is considered the best jurisdiction for company registration. Sanctions have kept local law firms from doing business with the Russians and put some startups under a state lockdown, effectively preventing them from continuing to operate.

It turned out that in the user interface, to the right of it, my last name and first name are written, and “sign the document” means that I have to take my name with the mouse and drag it to the place in the document where the “electronic signature” should be. The meaning of this procedure is that the notary and I have the same document in front of our eyes and all my actions on my computer are synchronously reflected on his screen. This means that when I drag my name with the mouse, he sees in real time that I am “signing” the document and sees through the webcam that it is me who is doing this, and not someone else. The next nuance is that all notaries in the network are “black people” and they have such an American English pronunciation that I have never seen in Youtube videos that I used to learn colloquial American. Now about how I got the address in San Francisco. The wonders of technology surprised me again. To register a company in the United States, you must have a physical mailbox where you can drop paper correspondence.
