Hi all! My name is Irek Khasyanov, I am 27 years old, and it seems that I am now a startup. At the moment I am developing an application for choosing parties in Moscow clubs – “Where is the Tusovka?”
About two years ago, I constantly began to notice that I was missing “brings” of DJs and musicians, which I was ashamed not to go to. There was no place to watch the event, listen to the music that would be playing in the club, and keep track of favorite artists. Thus was born the idea of a helper application with which I wanted to solve my problem.
As you understand, in two years I have not yet made a candy, I often put it on the back burner, did side projects and worked hard at ivi.ru. Realizing that this could not continue, I decided to finish everything in the form where the main functionality allows you to upload it to the App Store.
In early September, the first version appeared, except for my friends, I did not show it to anyone. Only now I understand that it’s in vain, since the first release is the most important in promoting the application. But the bridges have already been burned, and it’s time to move on.
On March 16, a new version was released, with design improvements and bug fixes for different versions of iOS. I began to promote it on my Facebook, and began to receive interesting reviews. It turned out that this idea is not entirely bad, and people are interested. After the release and a couple of beers, I was offered a challenge – to support the application for the Apple Watch in a week. I furiously set about implementing it and fulfilled the condition in a week – I sent the version for review. As a result, two days later, and the first time, the version was approved and appeared in the App Store. As you understand, the pants were full of joy.
And then it dawned on me – yes, this is a great opportunity to realize yourself and all your ideas about development, growth hacking, analytics and design.
Many people say that the country is in decay, but I decided to leave the supercompany and the team to work on my own projects.
A lot of great things are ahead: design changes, recommendations for parties, invitations of friends, new countries, cities, and so on. Soon some cool DJs will record mixes for promo. There are a lot of items in the todo list, few hands. The main thing is the support of friends and users!
Now there are two people in the team: all the development is on me, the second is the content. We live without investments and plan to monetize through an advertising model, in other countries, most likely, we will still sell tickets.
