Run, do not walk, to book this Hacienda!

“I stayed here for one night only at the end of July 2021, and my biggest regret of my entire Puerto Rican vacation is not staying 2+ nights here! (We flew in from San Juan to experience the biobay luminescence, and boy – one day and one night was not enough on Vieques, and we could have stayed many days in this sweet space.)

What is it like? It’s thoughtfully decorated and designed for us: a library, an outdoor breakfast nook, a mini pool table, a pool, a gorgeous balcony for reading. There’s an honor system for snacks and beverages (microwave popcorn, nuts, chips, beer, soda, etc.), a free library for borrowing and leaving books, and most of all – quiet and peace. It’s a beautiful, peaceful space, even when full up. The guests are considerate and quiet, and the owners are so very, very helpful. ” – Trip”

“Cannot express the beauty of this hotel and how nice people are. The view of hotel is pretty and has such vintage vibes while all facilities are in great condition. There is a cute library as well. The swimming pool is gorgeous as well. Location is perfect if you would like to go to biobay. It’s about 20 minuses walk.”

Forget Booking an AirBnB

“Forget booking an Airbnb on a side street with no access to a pool and no personal service! I booked an overnight trip at Hacienda and spoke directly with the staff. They helped me secure a car rental when everything was sold out, hooked us up with sailh’s horse riding for a beach ride and helped us book w Taino for a bio tour on a sold out night. Beautiful clean rooms and VIP service on a tiny island with awesome people.  #1 choice for worry free vacay.”

Remote Luxury Getaway

“This was our second visit to Hacienda Tamarindo and we booked our third visit before we left. The staff and owners are so friendly and accommodating. I wanted to share a few tips if you plan on staying on Vieques. Book direct if you can because the Hacienda Tamarindo staff will help you get the best deals for booking tours and reserving a Jeep. You will definitely need a Jeep to get to some of the best beaches on the island. Don’t get a scooter or golf cart. It may save money but will seriously limit the beaches you can explore.

Absolutely worth the visit. I would live here if I could convince my wife ;)”

“We loved this resort, and wish we could have stayed longer.
The view was amazing, overlooking a horse ranch and the ocean. The room was perfect and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in navigating the island. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the island. ”

“What a beautiful place! We were warmly welcomed by staff when we arrived and were given a tour of the property by the owner Burr. Throughout our visit they continued to be super helpful with arranging our bio bay excursion, calling us taxis and providing recommendations for places to eat or beaches to visit. The daily breakfast was delicious and the option to order a lunch to go for the next day was such a great touch as it helped us maximize our time on the beach. The room itself was very comfortable and we loved our terrace view of the sunrise. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back!”

Luxurious, Epic, Ideal, Honeymoon

“Seriously…Wow, wow, wow.
Everything from the beautiful flowers, to the extravagant homemade-hot-salsa. This hotel reminded me of what life would be like, if I were a lady of leisure, with the means to compensate for everything my heart desired. But, my husband and I were actually newly weds, and we were students. Or on a “student budget.” This place made the start to our honeymoon the most amazing incomparable experience possible.”
“Let me start with intimacy: we had booked a room with a balcony, when we arrived (did i say it was our honeymoon?), we were upgraded to a giant room with a living room and a beautiful terrace balcony. Every morning we could stagger up to our phenomenal breakfast where you could select any item from the list and of course a daily special. I am a “left overs” girl and my husband has a sweet tooth and together we were so pleased and satisfied every single day.
The staff, cooks, waitresses, owner and dog, made it feel so comfy, welcoming and at home for my new husband and I. The Tamarind hot sauce is a must! We bought 3 bottles. it was not enough. That was another plus!”

Excellent between a guest house and a bed & breakfast

“The ambiance is just perfect.
The rooms are very good, super clean and tidy, very good AC because is our summer otherwise well ventilated and I visited almost all of them for I was part of a group; we had the whole place (the Hacienda) for my group of ladies friends from our bowling league we were 42 ladies. From Monday to Thursday.
The service and friendliness was excellent, we had three wonderful days at the Hacienda Tamarindo the full breakfast were big and served, the service quite fast. The pancakes were delicious. The view from swimming pool is just beautiful specially at sun down.”
