Las autoridades localizaron durante la mañana de hoy, viernes, a salvo al joven que se creía se había ahogado en la Poza del Obispo, localizada en el barrio Islote, en Arecibo.
Una confidencia que se recibió durante la mañana de hoy alertó al Negociado de la Policía de Puerto Rico, que Harold Carrión Butter de 23 años, estaba oculto en una estructura abandonada en un parque público de la urbanización García de ese municipio.
Esta es la misma comunidad donde reside su progenitora Justinita Butter Torres, quien lo reportó desaparecido durante la noche del martes.
“La confidencia la recibió el Precinto de Arecibo, que él se encontraba de camino a una estructura abandonado en un parque público aquí en Arecibo, llegaron hasta allí y sí dieron con esta persona.
Estaba en condiciones normales, se veía un poco cansado, pero normal”, detalló el teniente Manuel Díaz, quien es el director auxiliar del Cuerpo de Investigaciones Criminales (CIC) de Arecibo.

El detenido es entrevistado por un agente de la División de Personas Desaparecidas para indagar sobre lo ocurrido, así que, Díaz no pudo adelantar si hizo alguna expresión sobre las razones que mediaron para que “desapareciera” de la vista de sus familiares.
“Hay que ver si fiscalía después de la entrevista y la consulta del agente determina radicar algún cargo”, añadió Díaz, al ser cuestionado sobre la posibilidad de que se configurara algún delito por la movilización de recursos estatales y federales para su búsqueda terrestre, marítima y aérea.
El martes al atardecer, su progenitora lo vio caminando hacia un área rocosa y le advirtió que debido al fuerte oleaje que no se lanzara al agua, no obstante, lo perdió de vista y no lo encontró por lo que creyó que había sido arrastrado por las corrientes marinas.
Desde ese momento, rescatistas de los Negociados de Manejo de Emergencias y Administración de Desastres y de Fuerzas Unidas de Rápida Acción, unidades municipales y un helicóptero de la Guardia Costanera, mantuvieron una búsqueda constante del hombre. Solo hallaron su camisa.

El individuo estaba atribulado porque había sido citado por las autoridades al día siguiente de su desaparición, con relación a una querella por violencia de género en su contra, según alegó su madre.
El teniente dijo que estaba citado el miércoles al tribunal para una extensión de una orden de protección por violencia doméstica y en un caso de sustancias controladas había renunciado a la vista preliminar.
