Great experience. The tour guide was very friendly and nice. Saw a lot of animals, the weather was nice and there were good vibes. The lady at the mojito bar (you get a free one) was a bit rude and had a major attitude about having to come into work, but we all have our days so I understood it. Other than that, I recommend it to everyone visiting San Juan!

Had a lovely time. We ended up being the only ones on the tour, so we got to spend a little more time doing exactly what we wanted but our guide was very charming, funny, and just nice. Would absolutely recommend. The grounds and wild life should not be missed. 🙂

Very good friendly knowledgeable tour guide Omar

PROGRAM DETAILS

Desembarco del Granma National Park Trekking Tour

Description:

Desembarco del Granma National Park is located on the southwestern tip of Cuba, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that protects virgin forests and salty lagoons. This is also the place where Fidel and a group of revolutionaries landed in Cuba on December 2, 1956 years after their exile in Mexico. Desembarco del Granma National Park is located 12 miles (20 km) south of Nicero. Desembarco del Granma National Park is home to virgin forests and ancient cacti, some of which are over 400 years old. 512 plant species have been found in the park, of which 60 percent are endemic. There are also 110 bird species, 44 reptile species, 13 animal species and 7 amphibian species.

We start in Bayamo at 07:00, after a 1 hour drive we arrive in Manzanillo city centre, 20 minutes from the hotel, before heading to Deembarco del Granma National Park. One day after 1 hour and a half drive, you will visit the exact landing point of the Granma boat where Fidel Castro and 81 revolutionaries died on December 2, 1956 years old, 1.8 km walk from the scale model of the yacht “Granma”. A guided visit to the Portada de la Libertad memorial is a step back in time to the days when they decided to overthrow the government, the farmer helped the rebels, his house was burned to the ground, but was rebuilt after the triumph of the revolution. Subsequently, you will visit the archaeological trail of El Goufef, it is a protected area where you can observe and explore the cave system, endemic flora and fauna and birdwatching for 2 hours of walking. Sendero Arcelogico Natural El Güef is the best trail in the park. This red mud trail runs through the forests and leads into a cave with drop formations. One formation, the Idolo de Agua, is believed to have been formed by the Taíno. Birds fly in and out through small openings in the cave. Lunch time takes place in the small fishing village of Cabo Cruz, followed by swimming time on a small but very pleasant beach. Fishing boats bob in the turquoise water as locals stroll slowly through the small streets of the city. The city’s lighthouse, Faro Cabo Cruz, was built in 1871. The restaurant next to the lighthouse offers fresh seafood. Later we head to Media Luna where the memorial house of Celia Sanchez is located; a place that shows how many people gave up their wealth for the cause of the revolution. Later, after a 40 minute drive, we will reach La Demaiagua Memorial, 15 km from Manzanillo. This is the place where Carlos Manuel de Cespedes freed his slaves and started the military independence of 1868, October 10, 1868. This event marked the only Cuban revolution to date. An hour and 20 minutes after that, the stop will return to Bayamo. nine0005

prices for holidays in Costa Rica

Costa Rica is a small country in Central America, which takes only 0.03 % of the land area of our planet. At the same time, tours to Costa Rica invariably remain one of the most popular. What is the secret why so many people around the world plan their holidays in Costa Rica? nine0005

About 30% of the country’s territory is occupied by national parks and reserves. Thanks to this, as well as the exceptional natural wealth of the country, about 6% of all existing plant and animal species are concentrated in Costa Rica today. Natural abundance was noted by the Spaniards, and this is reflected in the name of the state, literally meaning “rich coast”.

The popularity of tours to Costa Rica is growing from year to year. This is not surprising, because Costa Rica is deservedly proud of the title of the country with the greatest biological diversity on Earth. At the same time, prices for tours to Costa Rica are much higher than to neighboring states, and in 2022 they will increase slightly again. nine0005

Tours to Costa Rica from Moscow and St. Petersburg

TOUR EXPRESS since 1995 offers tours to Costa Rica from Moscow and other cities, including international flights. There are, of course, no direct flights to Costa Rica. All flights are carried out through Europe – Paris, Frankfurt or Madrid. The absence of charter flights to Costa Rica allows us to offer a high-level vacation, including on the beautiful Pacific beaches.

Tourists from the northern capital and neighboring regions can have a rest in this state with a flight from St. Petersburg. We organize a tour or an individual trip to Costa Rica, taking into account your requirements and wishes. Contact our specialists! nine0005

Prices for tickets to Costa Rica

Prices for holidays in Costa Rica are much higher than in neighboring countries. Costa Rica is not a country of mass, but rather exclusive tourism, so if you are going to have a good rest, focus on a trip budget of $ 3,500 per person, including air travel and a rich excursion program.

Holidays in Costa Rica

Guaranteed group tours to Costa Rica from TOUR EXPRESS is the best offer on the market in terms of price and quality. We suggest combining Costa Rica with neighboring countries. So, in 2006, the premiere of the program “Colonial Kaleidoscope” took place along the route: Costa Rica – Nicaragua – El Salvador – Honduras – Guatemala. nine0005

The price of this guaranteed tour includes all international and domestic flights, dates are known in advance, hotels on the 4 * route, the quality is unchanged and guaranteed. Holidays in Costa Rica, like in other Latin American countries, will be uncomfortable as part of a large group, so the number of places in our groups is limited and does not exceed 14 people. Of course, we are talking about a very interesting, varied and eventful route, which includes not only visiting all the most iconic sights, but also a couple of days of relaxing on the beach.
