Seventeen-year-old Ryan Pattick from Dorset, England, became a social media hero after someone posted surveillance footage. The video caught the moment of the collapse of the wall of the house, always a couple of meters from Ryan, he calmly walked by.

ruBolera Caribe is a bowling center located in the Barrio Coto Laurel in the municipality of Ponce, Puerto Rico, where the bowling competitions for the 2010 Central American and Caribbean Games (CACCU) were held. [1] [2] The site is at the intersection of PR-506 and PR-52. The center is owned by Bolera Caribe, Inc, a private company. [3] The bowling alley was opened in November 2004. [4]

History
Bolera Caribe in 2010
The Bolera de Ponce, as the Bolera Caribe was formerly known, was opened in Ponce in the mid-1950s in the Mariani Barrio Primero sector of Ponce. As the 1990s progressed, the neighborhood where the Bolera was located showed signs of aging and began to decay. This was a problem for the company, as it didn’t fit with the image it wanted to portray and the type of clientele it was seeking to continue the attraction policy.
nine0003Due to the overcrowding of the area, parking has also become a problem for the Bolera. So, like overflowing, guests used the mall’s parking lot across the street from Bolera. However, this led to several hacks that gave Bolera a bad reputation as an entertainment destination. To solve this problem, the company tried to sell the building and move to another location, but no buyer could be found. The business continues to lose revenue for several years. And the result of bowling chose the closure seeking another place. It closed at the end of 1990s, leaving the old building empty.
New building and location
In 2007, the company found a suitable location for its new bowling center at the junction of PR-506 and PR-52, which provides easy access to Ponce and nearby cities, thus providing it with greater exposure and same. Given its new location, the Bolera has faded its ponce-only roots and become more of a regional entertainment venue. In light of this, its name has also changed from Bolera de Ponce to Bolera Caribe, reflecting its newly expanded business territory.
Caribe means Caribbean in Spanish. This name change was appropriate because not only the city of Ponce, but all of its neighboring cities are on the Caribbean coast. The new bowling center was part of Mayor Churumba’s plan to provide an entertainment center in this part of the municipality. [5] The venue is currently the only bowling alley in the entire Caribbean coast of Puerto Rico. [6]Building
The new Bolera Caribe was designed by CMA Architects & Engineers LLP, the same Puerto Rican architectural firm that built the Center for Molecular and Comparative Medicine at the Ponce School of Medicine, in the 16-story Torre Chardon office tower in San Juan Plaza Las Americas, and underground city train Rio Piedras University station. The building consists of 2500 square meters of space. [7]
