1. Bosque de Pinos en Cayey
Un bosque hermoso y, como bien dice el nombre, lleno de pinos altos y montañas. El camino hasta llegar al bosque está lleno de curvas y vistas hermosas, y la vista desde el bosque no se queda atrás. Llegar es sumamente fácil (si sigues el GPS) y no hay que caminar tanto para llegar al spot. Asegura llegar relativamente temprano para asegurarte de que haya espacio para montar la caseta.

3. Pico Rodadero en Yauco
Amanecer en este lugar es una de las cosas más mágicas que podrás vivir; es verdaderamente impresionante y hermoso. No te voy a mentir, el camino para llegar allí está difícil (si puedes ir en una guagua, mucho mejor; si tu carro es bajito, ni lo intentes). Además, es un hike intenso para llegar a la cima del pico. No obstante, llegarás y te darás cuenta que valió la pena cada gota de sudor.
Procura ir con la menos cantidad de cosas posibles, ropa sumamente cómoda y zapatos todo terreno.

Playuela es uno de los spots más conocidos para acampar en el Oeste. Esta playa escondida tiene un amplio espacio para casetas, además de comodidad y estacionamiento seguro. No obstante, para poder llegar tienes que ir en una guagua o carro alto, preferiblemente 4×4.

5. Cerro Mime en Orocovis
El próximo camping spot en mi lista.
Este cerro se ha vuelto muy popular en el último año. Para llegar hasta el tope de la cima debes dejar tu carro en un punto y caminar. El camino puede parecer estrecho, pero es cómodo. Asegúrate de llevar solo lo necesario porque el espacio para acampar no es el más extenso, pero vale la pena cada segundo que pasarás allí.

6. Cerro Las Tetas en Cayey
El icónico spot que buscas siempre que pasas por Cayey, pero imagínate poder acampar y pasar la noche en Las Tetas. Si de lejos las ves altas, la vista que tienes desde el tope es otra cosa. Un amanecer aquí con el frío de la montaña y tu taza de café es todo lo que necesitas para recargar.

7. Bosque Toro Negro en Jayuya
Acampar en este bosque es como acampar en una versión más pequeña del Yunque. Aquí se encuentra la montaña más alta de Puerto Rico, Cerro Punta, que mide 1340 metros. Cuenta con facilidades de merenderos, BBQ’s, baños y área de acampar designada.
