Isla Verde is part of the San Juan/Carolina beautiful beach resort strip and it’s not hard to find a great meal when you get tired of feeling the sand between your toes. Here are 10 of the best places to eat in Isla Verde.

Platos has hands down some of the most authentic Puerto Rican food that you’ll find in Isla Verde. Platos is located inside the Coral By The Sea hotel and gives you the full island experience from start to finish. The menu includes island essentials like mofongos, paellas and chillo entero. The place also has a menu of steaks which have steakhouse prices. In terms of beverages, it serves some of the best sangria this side of the Atlantic.
Eighty20 Bistro

Located within the Verdanza Hotel, the menu offers everything from sloppy Joes to lobster empanadas. Eighty20 is similar to an upscale diner, but with a wider variety of options for meals compared to the more stylish places to eat in Isla Verde.

You can’t possibly start your meal wrong if you give the toasted and salted Peruvian corn or a bowl of canchaa chance. Try the restaurant’s namesake ceviches because they are what make Ceviche House such a good pick. Che’s has been a favorite of both locals and tourists since 1976.
