Description
Playa de la Concha (Spanish: Playa de La Concha ) is one of the most impressive beaches in Fuerteventura. It is located in El Cotillo, a small fishing village located in the northern part of the island in the municipality of La Oliva.
La Concha Beach attracts with its turquoise water, fine white sand and gorgeous scenery. The beach is 220 meters long and 50 meters wide. One end of the beach connects to Los Lagos ( Los Lagos ), which is a series of bays and small beaches.

La Concha Beach is a great family beach destination, surrounded by a natural reef and known for its calm seas with little to no waves. On windy days, the beach has natural shelters from the wind – small semicircular walls made of volcanic rock.
At low tide, large shallows form on the beach, where the water warms up quickly, they are ideal for children’s baths. nine0005
The ocean around the beach is rich in wildlife and is popular with diving enthusiasts.
Although Playa de la Concha is one of the best beaches on Fuerteventura, it is rarely crowded, so you can always find a place to relax there.
Infrastructure
Playa de la Concha is well equipped, it has showers, a lifeguard works, there is a rental point for beach equipment. There is a large parking lot next to the beach. On the beach there is a restaurant with a terrace where you can eat delicious food while admiring the sea views.
