Carolina, PR has a lot to offer. It is located in the metropolitan area. It has Puerto Rico’s main airport, tourist areas, a lot of restaurant options, hotels, malls, two large movie theaters and a small one, a few museums, popular beaches, parks, multiple gyms, multiple pharmacy options, different hospitals including the state university’ hospital, supermarkets, mega-stores, one state university campus, the main Campus of a private university, multiple industry zones including the pharmaceutical.
Nightlife is very limited and monotonous, there is not much to do during the night. Safety must greatly improve. Maintenance to public infrastructure is necessary. Jobs opportunities are mostly related to the service industry, not much opportunities for young professionals in different fields.

Unfortunately, Carolina is a city completely dependent on the use of cars. For the most part composed of only fast foods, shopping malls and large chain superstores and drugstores such as Walmart, Walgreens and CVS. In the case of titans such as the ones just mentioned, these corporations force local shops and pharmacies out of business. In fact, Puerto Rico in general has the highest number of Walmarts and Walgreens’ stores in the world. As a result, Carolina has lost it’s identity and charm. Becoming a prime example of the induced americanization of the US territory.
And the only interesting part of Carolina, is the zone of Isla Verde which, unsurprisingly, is located right next to the Puerto Rican International Airport. Mistakenly publicized as located in San Juan, when in reality is to prevent from being associated with Carolina’s bad reputation.
Love living here! Ive been living since 1995. Everything is nearby malls, hospitals, schools, museums and more.

The victory was won by a beauty from Poland. “Karolina Beliawska from Poland became the 70th Miss World to wear the coveted blue crown!” — says on the website of the competition. The crown was presented to her by the owner of the title “Miss World – 2019” Toni-Anne Singh.
“When I heard my name, I was shocked, I still can’t believe it. I am honored to wear the Miss World crown and I can’t wait to get to work. I will remember this amazing chapter in Puerto Rico for the rest of my life,” Belyavska said with tears in her eyes. nine0003
97 girls took part in the competition, for the first time representatives of Iraq and Somalia appeared in it.
40 participants entered the semi-finals. They arrived in Puerto Rico after the December final on the island had to be postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Second place went to Sri Saini (USA) and third place went to Olivia Yase (Côte d’Ivoire). Beauties from Indonesia, Mexico, Northern Ireland, Colombia, the Czech Republic, France, India, the Philippines, Somalia, and Vietnam also made it to the final top 13.
Karolina receives a master’s degree in management. She wants to continue her education to a doctoral degree. Belyavska also works as a model. The girl loves to swim and scuba dive, as well as play tennis and badminton. She hopes to become a motivational coach.
The new Miss World is also very passionate about volunteer work, The Untouchables is her favorite movie, Carolina’s Beauty with Meaning project provides ongoing assistance to the homeless in crisis, and also raises awareness about this problem, fights social isolation.

Every Sunday, volunteers provide hot meals, food packages, drinks, clothes, masks, legal advice and professional medical assistance to almost 300 residents of Lodz in need. Many of these people did not have access to registration for the COVID-19 vaccine, but the project was able to get government approval to vaccinate more than 400 people. As part of the project, the first social toilet for the homeless in Łódź was also built.
