  A good day out for a young family

  We spent the full day there with our two boys 7,5 and baby aged 1 and a half. Some of the attractions were closed such as laser tag and the splash zone, and ball pool. They offer a free return ticket which could be useful for some if on a longer holiday. We managed to spend a full day with some time in the morning, outside for lunch and then back in again. The boys enjoyed the platform jump, pedal go carts and play zone. The baby area was small but with supervision our toddler had fun running around the other attractions. The tickets cost 56 euro for our family, it’s not a huge park and given that some of the activities are closed I was sceptical but the boys LOVED it and we even got to go on a few gos of the trampolines and platform jump. Staying in Bahia Felix it’s a 35 euro taxi ride, there is a bus also (no1).

  Great fun for €5

  The place is a little unkempt in places but the actual greens were generally in good condition. Some of the holes were quite tricky. We had great fun for only €5 per person.

  Lots of fun in an evening if your not wanting to go far

  Great little course, fun to play. Needs alot of work to bring it up to standard though, holes in the carpets on the courses, broken ornaments etc but otherwise we enjoyed 2 rounds of mini golf here. The little bar where you pay was great value for large ice cold beers, 2 euros each for Tropical beers and had an amazing sunset view over the sea. Not pestered by the vendors above or drug dealers at the Europa Centre which was nice.

  Cheap and cheerful.

  The course is a little shabby in places but you can play fine on it. For €4, you can’t really go wrong. We enjoyed our game and would return. The guy working there was friendly.

  Good and well-kept mini golf course near Amadores beach

  We, a family of 4, always like to play mini golf when we are on holiday. We have played at many mini golf courses on Gran Canaria, and I would say that this course is one of the better. The course is very well kept and has nice setting near the beach. There is easy car parking nearby. The price is also reasonable. The tracks are relatively easy.

A week ago, a quiz from Dreams Resorts & Spas was launched on our portal. We finish: summing up, publishing the correct answers, including the answer to the main question – which of the pros became the winner and will go to rest in Dreams Puerto Aventuras Resort & Spa >>

The results of the quiz showed that the topic of Dreams Resorts & Spas is close to the pros – 72% of the participants answered all questions correctly.

Playa de Amadores in Gran Canaria is everything you need for a beach holiday. There is not much nightlife here, so it is ideal for a relaxing holiday. However, the resort of Puerto Rico, located very close, has a lot of lively bars and nightlife, so if you need it one day, it can be reached by taxi in just a few minutes.

So how is the beach in Playa de Amadores? It has one large white sandy beach and is surrounded by many restaurants and bars, making it ideal for families with small children. It also has a playground, mini golf and a beach club right next to the beach. If one day you want to visit another beach, then next door there is an easy walking path to Puerto Rico beach, and on the other side you will find Playa de Tauro beach. nine0019

Hotels

Playa de Amadores does not have many hotels or places to stay. Therefore, I can not name my favorites, because there are so few of them. However, I would suggest taking a look at the offers for Playa de Amadores on Booking.com.

Nightlife

There is no nightlife or clubs in Playa de Amadores. However, if you want to club for a bit, you can take a taxi or walk to a nearby resort in Puerto Rico where you will find more bars and clubs late at night. nine0019

Playa de Amadores has quite a few restaurants and places to eat near the beach, but many of the hotels here are inclusive, so many people choose to stay and eat at the hotel. However, if you’re looking for more variety, you’ll find it in neighboring Puerto Rico. nine0153

Playa de Amadores is located 48 km from Gran Canaria Airport (LPA):

Here are some important things you need to know and the companies I have booked transfers, buses and taxis with in Gran Canaria.

There are not many shops in Playa de Amadores. However, the nearby resort of Puerto Rico has loads to make up for this. If you want to do some shopping, it’s only a few minutes walk or taxi ride. nine0019

Markets that you can’t find in this area either. The closest and most pleasant are in the morning in Puerto de Mogan on Monday and Friday.

Things to do in Playa de Amadores

There is not much to do in Playa de Amadores to go to the beach and relax. There are also many boats passing by offering all sorts of excursions such as snorkelling, trips to Puerto de Mogan, whale and dolphin watching and much more.
