Apparently, the British Prime Minister decided to take advantage of the growing demand for housing in rural areas in the context of a pandemic.
What happened? The country house owned by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is now available for rent. The property is located on the outskirts of the Oxfordshire town of Tham, about 20 km from Oxford. The upscale farmhouse hit the rental market April 11 through Strutt & Parker for a modest $5,840 per month, according to Mansion Global.
Property records show an estimated value of $1.65 million, double the amount it was purchased for in 2003, according to Zoopla reports.
Parts. The historic family home, called The Old Farm House, includes four bedrooms, a swimming pool, tennis court and a separate annex which, according to the announcement, could be used as an office.

Its affordability is rare because the demand for vacation home rentals has never been so high, resulting in a shortage of high quality properties. The old farmhouse was already popular with interested parties in the two days it spent at the market.
